Storyline Update on Daniel Bryan, How Long He Might Be Out of Action For!!....

In case you missed it during last night's RAW, the official storyline update on Daniel Bryan is that he just suffered a stinger during the assault from Kane. The storyline is that Bryan was taken to a local hospital to be checked out but had no serious injuries. The feeling is that he will be kept out of action until Extreme Rules.

WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan vs. Kane has been officially added to the 5/4 Extreme Rules PPV in East Rutherford, NJ.

RING OF HONOR-NEW JAPAN SHOW TICKET UPDATES!

After settling on production plans for the events, Ring of Honor has released a small amount of tickets for their 5/10 Toronto and 5/17 NYC combined events with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

NASCAR PERSONALITY JOINS GFW BOARD OF DIRECTORS
(April 21) NASHVILLE -- Global Force Wrestling is pleased to welcome former NASCAR driver and current Fox Sports NASCAR analyst Hermie Sadler to its Board of Directors.
Sadler, who turns 45 later this week, is a lifelong wrestling fan who also has promoted live wrestling events. A 1991 graduate of the University of North Carolina, he was the 1993 Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year. Sadler has a diverse portfolio away from the race track, including restaurants, finance companies and franchises.
"I’ve been excited from the moment I heard the vision of GFW, and I know fans are, too,” Sadler said. “Not only am I looking forward to serving on the board but to helping foster a relationship between the fan bases of GFW and NASCAR and watching them interact."
Jeff Jarrett, the CEO of GFW and a 12-time world champion, and his wife, Karen, have continued their travels around the world laying the groundwork for Global Force Wrestling.
“Hermie and I have been friends for more than 20 years,” Jarrett said. “Yes, he has been a great driver for years, but I have always admired him for his business acumen. He also fits with GFW because he understands the importance of fan interaction as clearly all of NASCAR does.

WWE RAW REPORT: DANIEL BRYAN RETURNS; THE SHIELD CHALLENGE EVOLUTION; FANS VOTE FOR CENA'S OPPONENT; AND MORE

We begin this week’s show with a look at the Almost Everyone in the Locker Room versus The Shield match that was a pretext for the return of Evolution. We are in Baltimore, Maryland and your announcers are John ‘Old Bay’ Layfield, Michael ‘Wild Bill Hagy’ Cole, and Jerry ‘Did you see my son on last night’s Total Divas’ Lawler. The WWE World Champion makes his return to Raw and he makes his way to the ring and he is with his wife Brie and they hug in the ring. Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring before Bryan can say anything. Stephanie says that she couldn’t resist the moment to congratulate Daniel and Brie. She would be chanting yes too. From the bottom of her heart, she is sincere. He wins the WWE World Championship and then marries the love of his life in the same week. It was an organic, crunchy, rustic wedding if you are into that. Since the WWE is a family, they wanted to get Daniel and Brie a wedding present. It is not a traditional present because they are not a traditional company. Daniel will defend the WWE World Title against the Devil’s Favorite Demon at Extreme Rules. Since Kane said that he wanted to eviscerate Daniel last week, she would make sure that Daniel got his pretty little wife out of the way. Kane’s pyro goes off and they look at the stage. Stephanie tells Kane ‘not now’. This isn’t the right time or place. Daniel has Brie leave the ring and they by the announce table. Kane is in the Roberts’ cubicle and he grabs Bryan by the throat. Bryan punches Kane but Kane punches back Bryan attacks Kane from behind when he goes after Brie. Bryan sends Kane into the steps with a drop toe hold. Kane catches Bryan off the apron and Kane sends Bryan into the ringside barrier. Stephanie says that is enough but Kane does not listen. Kane gives Bryan a tombstone piledriver on the floor. Stephanie keeps telling Kane that is enough. Kane throws the ring steps aside because he does not know the meaning of ‘enough’. Kane drags Bryan to the ring steps. Kane sets for a second tombstone on the steps and he gives Bryan another one. Stephanie calls for the EMTs. The medical staff and referees check on Bryan while Kane goes to the back. They put a collar on Bryan. Kane pushes Bryan off the stretcher and Kane throws the stretcher aside. Kane rearranges the announce table and he throws the monitors aside while Stephanie continues to tell Kane to stop. Kane picks up Bryan on the table and he hits a third tombstone piledriver, this time on the announce table. Stephanie calls Kane a bastard and he leaves the ringside area and goes to the back. We go to commercial. We are back and Daniel Bryan is being placed on the stretcher again and Brie is by his side. Stephanie is in the ring and she wants a very warm round of applause for Daniel as he is being wheeled out of the arena. The announcers are not sure of what to say about what just happened. Wade Barrett says that he has some bad news, but it is not as bad as the news for Daniel Bryan. Shamrocks and Lucky Charms will not work tonight. The luck of the Irish is running out. This is not St. Patrick’s Day. It is the day that Sheamus is defeated by Bad News Barrett. Match Number One: Wade Barrett versus Sheamus in an Intercontinental Title Number One Contender Tournament SemiFinal Match Barrett with a kick and forearm followed by punches. Barrett with a kick and the referee warns Barrett. Sheamus with punches and he sends Barrett into the turnbuckles. Sheamus with punches and then he runs Barrett’s eyes across the top rope. Sheamus with an Irish whip and he gets Barrett on his shoulder for a Finlay Slam. Sheamus goes up top but Barrett punches Sheamus and he sets for a superplex but Sheamus head butts Barrett to the mat. Barrett rolls to the apron. Sheamus with a boot to knock Barrett to the floor and then Sheamus with a cross body onto Barrett on the floor. Sheamus rolls Barrett back into the ring and Sheamus tries for the forearms across the chest but Barrett escapes the hold and Barrett sends Sheamus into the ring post and then he kicks Sheamus off the apron. We go to commercial. We are back and Barrett with a reverse chin lock. Sheamus with punches but Barrett with a kick. Sheamus with a tilt-a-whirl power slam and both men are down. Sheamus with two running double sledges followed by a shoulder in the corner and a knee lift. Sheamus with a running knee into the corner and Sheamus goes to the apron and then Sheamus connects with the ten forearms across the chest. Sheamus goes up top and hits a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Barrett with an elbow to Sheamus but Sheamus with the uranage back breaker for a near fall. Big E watches from the back on a monitor. Sheamus goes for White Noise but Barrett sends Sheamus into the turnbuckles. Barrett sets for Wasteland but Sheamus escapes. Barrett avoids a Brogue Kick and Barrett hits the Blackpool Slam for a near fall. Barrett sets for the Bullhammer while Sheamus struggles to get back to his feet. Barrett misses the Bullhammer but he does not miss a boot in the corner. Sheamus hits White Noise for a near fall. Barrett and Sheamus exchange punches from their knees. They get to their feet and Sheamus with the advantage and then he hits a cross body and both men go over the top rope to the floor. Barrett kicks Sheamus away and then he hits the Bullhammer from the floor as Sheamus sets for a suicide dive and Barrett gets the three count. Winner: Wade Barrett (Advances to the Finals to face the winner of Rob Van Dam versus Cesaro) We go to commercial. We are back and Bo Dallas tells us we cannot spell Challenge without ‘Change’. He tells us to BOlieve. Michael Cole shows us Hugh Jackman’s appearance on Raw in September 2011 when he punched Dolph Ziggler. Hugh will be on next week’s Raw. We see the Twitter conversation between Jackman and Ziggler and the insertion into the discussion by Damien Sandow. Michael Cole tells you to go to the App to choose John Cena’s opponent for tonight. Will it be Luke Harper, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, or the whole Wyatt Family. Speaking of the Wyatts, they appear on the stage. Bray says that he remembers the first time he was struck with truth. The taste was better and it was SO intense. He liked it. It was something real. Free will has become man’s biggest illusion. They promise it to you just in time to take it away from you again. What have we become? A nation full of mindless sheep? Tonight would be what a wonderful night for change. What a wonderful night for change . . . indeed. We are back and we see the footage from the last week to justify the next match Match Number Two: Fernando, Diego, and El Torito versus Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, and Hornswoggle (with Heath Slater) Drew and Diego start things off but Hornswoggle wants to start things off. Drew tags him in and Torito enters as well. They get face to face and Hornswoggle slaps Torito. Torito slaps back. They go back and forth until Hornswoggle pushes him away. Torito with a head scissors. Torito with a springboard head butt to Hornswoggle and he hits the Bronco Buster. Torito goes up top and hits a moonsault for a near fall when Jinder pulls Torito off Hornswoggle. Diego takes care of Mahal. Drew tags in and he knocks Fernando off the apron. Torito goes under a boot and he gores Slater on the apron. Torito with a head butt and kick to Drew. Fernando and Diego get Drew up and Torito hits a seated splash for the three count. Winners: El Torito, Fernando, and Diego We take a look at the return to the ring for Evolution after The Shield had to face 11 men. A limo arrives at the Arena and Evolution emerges. We go to commercial. We are back and Evolution makes their way to the ring Hunter says that he laughs every time he thinks about it. Imagine what it feels like. You tell the whole world that you are the baddest guys on the planet week in and week out. Then one day, your daddy comes out and spanks you in front of the world. That is humiliating and humbling. That is just the beginning. Orton says that it takes just a single spark to set the world on fire. It was one careless act by the Shield that set the gears of their destruction. The reformation of the most dominant and most feared group . . . Evolution. We have a video package for Evolution. Batista asks if you are starting to get it now. Thirty-one world titles in the ring between the three of them. The Shield has absolutely no idea what they have gotten themselves into. He tells them to deal with that. The Shield’s music plays and they make their way through the crowd and to ringside. Evolution shows how powerful they are by leaving the ring while The Shield enter the ring. Dean says last week wasn’t the first time they were beaten up and won’t be the last. He tells them well done. Dean has a question for Hunter. Do they look humbled to him? DO WE LOOK HUMBLE TO YOU? There was a reason why they were hired to protect him and the creampuff next to him. The Shield are the meanest, nastiest, and dirtiest animals. They are angry. Seth says that they have every right to be angry because of what happened last week. It was them and 12 other guys. For Batista to say that they have no idea what they have gotten themselves into, they are the ones who started it. They stand on the stage in their suits, but they don’t want to fight. They talk about how powerful they are and how they were built for dominance. In two weeks, they will come face to face with the Hounds of Justice and it will be war. When they have nowhere to run, will they be looking out for each other? Randy Orton will be looking out for himself. Batista has his Hollywood obligations. Triple H will do what he always does. He will do ‘what’s best for the boss’. What you are looking at is the most dominant force in the history of this company. In two weeks they will rip them apart and the reunion will come to an abrupt halt. When they made the match, they put a nail in their own coffin. They will be the hammer that drives it home. Roman says last week, they were given an ultimatum. This week they will give them one. In a few moments, they will drop their mics and come up the ramp to kick their asses. They have two options. Michael Cole tells us that Daniel Bryan was taken to a medical facility for observation. We go to commercial. We are back and Michael Cole tells us that there is a free week still available and there is a special for Hall of Fame inductions starting Tuesday at 10:00 PM for the next four days. Curtis Axel and Ryback join the announce table. We see footage from Total Divas when Jimmy Uso and Naomi got married. Match Number Three: Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso versus Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a Non Title Match Jey and Goldust start off and Jey with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Goldust with a reverse atomic drop and arm drags. Jey with an arm drag of his own. Goldust with a punch but Jey punches back. Goldust with a clothesline and he tags in Cody. Cody with a springboard drop kick for a near fall. Cody with a wrist lock into a hammer lock. Jey with an elbow and he tags in Jimmy. Jey sends Cody into the air and Jimmy drops Cody on the top rope and he gets a near fall. Jimmy with a head butt and then he applies a sliding head lock. Cody lands on his feet and he connects with a drop down uppercut. Goldust tags in and Jimmy with an arm drag. Jey tags in and he hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Goldust with a wrist lock and he slams the arm into the mat. Goldust with a drop down uppercut of his own. Cody tags in and he gets an O’Connor Roll but Jey tags in. Jey with a super kick to Goldust and then Cody tries for Cross Rhodes on Jimmy and Jey with a super kick to Cody for the three count. Winners: Jimmy and Jey Uso After the match, Goldust checks on Cody and Cody pushes Goldust away and goes to the back. Axel and Ryback leave the announce table and attack the Usos. They send Jimmy into the ring post and then Axel with a running knee to Jey while Ryback holds him. Ryback with the marching muscle buster to Jey. Michael mentions Slam City and we see Mark Henry’s episode. We go to commercial.

Bill Goldberg Talks About His Recent Negotiations with Triple H!!

PWInsider spoke to Bill Goldberg shortly before WWE's WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view earlier this month. Regarding the rumors of possibly returning to face Ryback, Goldberg says he had a few talks with Triple H but none of them were specifically geared towards WrestleMania and none of their talks had to do with Ryback. Goldberg described the talks as general conversations that didn't lead anywhere. Goldberg says he still trains, maybe more than he ever has in his life, and had the following to say about a possible return: "Would I love to do it again and have my son and my wife, who has never seen me wrestle? Abso-damn-lutely. Would I jeopardize what I've done in the wrestling world just to make that happen? No. So if I wasn't ready to do it, physically ready to do it, and it wasn't the right situation, I wouldn't do it just to do it. If that was the case, I'd probably be at WrestleMania this year. It just has to be right and if it's not right, then I'm retired, for good."

HUGE HOLLYWOOD NAME RETURNING TO WWE

Hugh Jackman will be guest starring on next week's Raw in St. Louis to promote "X-Men: Days of Future Past." He'll be reprising his role as Wolverine for the film, which is based on one of the most popular and iconic X-Men storylines ever. Jackman, who grew up a huge wrestling fan in Australia, appeared on Raw a few years ago to promote "Real Steel."

WWE REFEREE ALMOST LOSES HIS THUMB IN SAUDI ARABIA!!

TMZ is reporting that while referee Charles Robinson was helping set up the ring for today's show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia he sliced his thumb to the point where he was in danger of losing it.
WWE refs are part of the ring crew, for those that didn't know.
WWE doctor Chris Amann was at the event and put stitches in the thumb immediately.

WWE's New Signing Policy!

In asking around regarding stories about who they are signing and such what it is and isn’t true. There is no hard and fast rule, but there is the belief that they have enough “small guys” and the problem with business is there are already too many and not enough “big guys.” Unless someone is really good, they are not going to sign small guys. They also don’t want to sign ROH guys right now, although this doesn’t mean Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards (who fit into both categories) are dead in the water, because they aren’t. They actually fit into the potential tag team category. They did not get e-mails the last week saying the company decided to pass on them like almost everyone else at the tryout camp they were at got. But as a general rule, if they weren’t as talented as they are, and didn’t have key guys pushing for them who saw them in ROH, they would be. The general rule HHH has is that he wants to be training guys either from scratch, or getting younger guys with the right look and size, with all the money they’ve spent on developmental, and get them before they make names on the indie scene. Even though their doctrine today would mean Punk and Bryan, two of their three current most over stars, would have a hard time getting in the door. The feeling is the guys who work indies and travel and have somewhat of a name have bad habits, and if they are at the higher level, if they sign them and even if they agree to take the pay cut to WWE entry level, that they won’t be happy over the long haul, It was also said they don’t want guys who know they can get fired and go back and be successful without WWE. They want guys with the impression that their careers in wrestling depend on making it in WWE.

WWE's New Rules For More Banned Terms!!

A leaked memo from a few years ago stated a few things. Vince has said that nobody going forward can use the phrase “Granddaddy of them all” for WrestleMania. He feels it makes WrestleMania feel old and dated. Also, nobody is allowed to use the phrase “choke” for a submission move. Undertaker’s Hell’s Gate has also been named the “Triangle Submission hold” even though it’s a gogoplata, which is not a triangle although it looks sort of similar. Kevin Dunn stated announcers can no longer use the phrase “title changes hands.” Vince has banned the use of terms “Five star match” and “Match of the Year.” It’s funny, because when Arn Anderson does agent reports, he loves to use the “five star match” phrase for a match that tears down the house. As part of the memo banning those terms he also wanted all announcers to “stop reading the dirt sheets” with the idea it influences what they say. Funny, when they book for inside fans. Stephanie McMahon sent a memo for announcers to never use the phrase “the referee didn’t see it” when a heel is doing something behind the referees back. She wrote that it makes it seem like the announcers are treating the fans like they are in grade school. She would prefer “the referee’s vision was impaired” or “the referee’s vision was blocked.” Also, never use the word “hatred” or “hate” when describing a feud. Also, the announcers should never say a talent doesn’t care about winning a match. Also, when somebody is bleeding, never make references to it or use the word blood.

Triple H Books a Main Event

Raw began with Triple H, already in the ring, introducing "the face of the WWE," Randy Orton. Shield was at ringside as the protectors. Orton said that if you disrespect him, you're disrespecting WWE. Orton asked the crowd a series of questions about Daniel Bryan, closing with "Should Bryan give up his title shot at Night of Champions?" Orton screamed "YES!" Hunter chimed in. His job is to put out the best product, but he needs to maintain the health and wellbeing of his Superstars and Divas, also. He's worried about Bryan's health lately, saying that Daniel puts himself in positions to get hurt. He partially blamed the crowd for egging Bryan on.

Hunter then compared Bryan to Doink The Clown. Both are popular, but being champions would be bad for business. Hunter mocked Bryan, saying he could bring back the European title or Cruiserweight title, and would have no problem with Bryan trying to win one of those.

Daniel Bryan finally appeared. The crowd went ape for him. Bryan brushed off the Doink comparison, instead calling Hunter and Orton the only clowns he sees. Bryan said he won't give up, even though Hunter gave up his hair to be a corporate sellout, and Orton gave up being in the title picture until he was handed the belt. Bryan knows he can win the belt, against all odds, and Hunter and Orton both know it, too.

Hunter said Bryan's anger is misdirected. Bryan should be mad at Big Show, for standing by each week doing nothing to help Bryan even though he has an iron clad contract and cannot be fired. Oh, so they remembered. Thanks interwebz. How logical of Hunter. Bryan should be mad at the people handing him the beatings, but rather the people watching it. Hunter booked Big Show vs Daniel Bryan for later.

How refreshing to have a top babyface cut a serious promo for an upcoming title match without pretending he's at the Comedy Cellar.

After break, backstage, Hunter and Orton walked by Cody Rhodes. Cody asked why Orton is dodging Bryan, when he knows Orton isn't afraid of Bryan. Cody said Bryan vs Orton is what's best for business. HHH smirked, and said Cody doesn't decide what is best for business. He then brought up Cody's upcoming wedding, and how neither Hunter nor Orton received an invitation. HHH booked Orton vs Cody for later, intimating that if Cody lost, he'd be fired.

FANDANGO vs The Miz

Miz submitted Fandango with the Figure Four. During a commercial break, Miz hit a boot to Fandango's face that caused some bleeding, so we came back with referee Charles Robinson wearing the latex gloves. Fandango was selling his left knee throughout the match, even after hitting offensive moves. So he was banged up, and it cost him. Fandango was selling both his left knee and nose after losing.

Backstage, Booker T tried to talk some sense into Daniel Bryan. He said Bryan shouldn't be picking this fight that he cannot win.

Dolph Ziggler vs The Ryback

The Ryback squashed Dolph Ziggler. Brad Maddox ordered this match during the break on WWE App, but didn't say who Dolph's opponent would be. Dean Ambrose attacked Dolph before the bell could ring, so everyone assumed he was the guy. Dean told Dolph to learn to respect the business. The Ryback then came out, greeted by a loud "Goldberg!" chant, and was announced as the opponent. Total squash here until Ryback went for his meat hook clothesline, which Dolph countered. Dolph had a brief rally until Ryback hit the clothesline, and finished Dolph off with the Shellshock.

Backstage, Brad Maddox interrupted Stephanie and Triple H. Apparently Big Show is refusing to wrestle Daniel Bryan. Stephanie said she would handle this.

Los Matadores are coming to WWE. I don't think they'll be Los Matadores by this time next year.

Stephanie McMahon calls out Big Show

Stephanie said that her friend, Big Show, helped her out a lot when she was younger, teaching her the ropes while she grew up backstage. Yikes. Big Show came out, and the two hugged in the ring. Okay this shit I can't stand. Sucked when they did the HBK angle a few years ago, sucks now. Steph said that Big Show is broke. Show was bordering on tears. Steph said Show has no money, and needs this job. Now Show is crying. Steph said his contract isn't so iron clad, and Show has to worked to keep it. She then called Show old, saying he could be done anytime. Oh, a step further, Show has no other skills. If he leaves WWE, there's no job elsewhere for him. This is all why Big Show must do what Hunter says, and wrestle Bryan later. Oh Christ. Stephanie finished by saying that Big Show won't live long, because he's a giant, and they medically don't last long. So Big Show needs to think of his family, because HE'S BROKE AND WILL BE DEAD SOON! The gist, anyway. This show sucks. Steph left Show in the ring to cry alone.

WWE App: Big Show went nuts backstage, throwing chairs and suitcases around.

JBL asked what did Big Show expect, his contract was written by John Laurinaitis. "Who thought Skateboard could do anything right?"

Primetime Players vs 3MB

Titus pinned Jinder after the Sky High, which he has a different name for but I'm not sure what it is... because no one on the announce team has said what it is for the last three weeks. It was Jinder & Slater for 3MB. Titus still does the whistle gimmick while stomping his opponent in the corner. Giving Titus O'Neil a whistle is a bad idea. The guy gets blown up too easy as it is. Good match, going longer than I thought it would. Crowd was into it.

Backstage, Paul Heyman confronted Brad Maddox about the upcoming Night of Champions match between Axel & Heyman vs CM Punk. Triple H came in and kicked Brad out. Hunter said he approved the Night of Champions match, which bewildered Paul. Hunter said that Paul has weaseled out of confrontations forever, but this time will be different. Hunter was a face here, saying that Paul will finally get the beating he deserves, which is best for business. Why doesn't Paul just get Brock to come back and kill Hunter again?

Vignette: Bray Wyatt talked about Icarus. Not of CHIKARA fame. Bray warned Kane, but Kane didn't listen. "Where's Kane?" Lawler called Bray the "Minister of Sinister."

Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton

Randy Orton pinned Cody Rhodes with an RKO in what ended up being a strong match. It was, however, another segment where all the talk is about how a wrestler doesn't know anything but wrestling, and has no outside prospects if fired. Cody grew up in the business, and needs to save his career. Anyway, the people didn't buy this as a career saving match for Cody early. During the match, they cut to a group of superstars watching the match on a monitor. The group included a bunch of babyfaces... and Fandango. There was a semi-loud Goldust chant when Cody broke out the sliding throat strike his brother always did. After that spot, the match got good. Cody tried for a top rope moonsault, but Orton stepped out of the way. Orton begged for a reaction strong, and the time it took cost him. Cody countered an RKO with the CrossRhodes for a strong nearfall. Cody then tried for a schoolboy, but Orton kicked out. Cody followed with the Disaster Kick, but Orton stepped away, and Cody sold an injured knee in the landing. Orton kicked Cody's legs out, and hit an RKO for the pinfall victory. The crowd cared late, which is a testament to both Orton and Cody.

Telling everyone how a wrestler wouldn't succeed outside of wrestling doesn't exactly make Cody come across like a hero we should care about, though. The announcers opined about the end of Cody's career after the match. Hunter came out, and told the crowd to let Cody hear it. Hunter said he respects Cody, but for business, Cody is fired. Cody was begging Hunter not to do it.  Cody faked crying, while a small number of fans chanted "Thank you, Cody." Lawler wondered what Cody would do, while JBL wondered what his fiancée is thinking.

A Different Side of CM Punk

Punk came out with a kendo stick, wanting a fight with Heyman. He's ready to give him an ass kicking, but he awaits Night of Champions for it. Tonight, he had something to say to the people. Punk guarantees that he will make it past Curt Axel, and he guarantees he'll get Paul Heyman. He says the people will see a different side of Punk in thirteen days. Punk broke Paul's heart, but now, he'll break his face. He promised. After the promo, Punk stayed in the ring while they replayed a video package about the Punk vs Axel match last week. The video ended and we came back to about 30 more seconds of Punk in the ring playing up to the crowd. Have to keep the top guy on screen for as long as possible, you see.

Second hour of the show was better than the first, but this show still sucks.

Backstage, Big Show and Daniel Bryan discussed the main event. Show didn't want the match, but Bryan looks forward to it. Bryan said he'll beat Big Show just like he did for his first World title.

Natalya vs Brie Bella vs Naomi for a title shot

AJ Lee on commentary said that neither of these three deserve a title shot. So, before anyone could win, AJ jumped in the ring and attacked the participants causing a no contest. All three ganged up on AJ for what was the most clumsy triple team effort I have seen in a long time, possibly ever. This. Killed. The. Crowd. Dead. The other Total Divas girls were out there for the match, and they just stood there cheering on the three geeks beating up AJ. All the Total Divas girls then left, while AJ laid beaten in the ring. Hour three off to a great start...

Los Matadores are still coming. Oh, please, let's get a Brodus Clay debut swerve again with these two. Their theme music does sound pretty good, though.

Rob Van Dam vs Damien Sandow

RVD pinned Sandow with the 5 Star Frog Splash. Alberto Del Rio's music attempted to disrupt RVD, causing a loss, but that didn't work.

Backstage, the three Divas from the #1 contender match were whining to Stephanie about not getting the title shot. Steph made AJ vs Natalya vs Brie vs Naomi for Night of Champions.

Backstage, Cody Rhodes said Triple H and the McMahons have hated the Rhodes family for decades. They humiliated Dusty, then Dustin, and now Cody. Cody left in anger, not answering a question about what his fiancée thinks. Wonder if she's coming in as a character?

The Superstars of WWE were making their way to the stage to watch the main event.

Big Show vs Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan wanted the fight to prove he can do anything. Big Show didn't want the match because Daniel Bryan is his friend, and Show was afraid he would kill Bryan. Show kept yelling at Bryan not to make him do this match. Basically, D-Bry is such an easy person to beat up that Show felt bad being in the match. The crowd didn't care for this story. Or the first part of the match. Bryan kept attacking Show, but Show would cut Bryan off every time. The crowd was scary quiet during this match until Bryan came off the top rope only to be caught with a Big Show spear. Show then set up for the WMD, but decided against it and feigned leaving the ring. Triple H and the Shield came out, and Shield surrounded the ring making sure Show didn't leave. Hunter told Big Show to finish Bryan off. Show refused. He said it wasn't right.

Yes, the guy going for the world title was being beaten so bad by Big Show, that Big Show didn't feel right about continuing. Shield ran in to attack Bryan, and Show was about to run in for the save when Hunter told Big Show to stay out of it, now. Hunter called him "Paul" and said he didn't want to fire Big Show. The Shield hit the triple team powerbomb on Bryan right in front of Big Show, who was crying at this point. Hunter told Big Show to bundle up all his energy, and knock Daniel Bryan out. Big Show still refused. Stephanie's music hit, and she faced off with Big Show on the entrance ramp. Steph told Big Show to think about his family. The family he can't support because he is broke, of course. Big Show was torn, and walked back to the ring. Hunter egged him on, and for a moment Show looked like he would punch Triple H. In the end, Big Show finally did knock out Daniel Bryan. Steph and Hunter told Show he did the right thing, while Big Show was crying and walked backstage with the McMahons. Funny enough, The Ryback on stage looked ashamed of Big Show.

Randy Orton came out to finish off Daniel Bryan. Or, just stand and pose over his beaten body, rather. The end.

The writing of the Big Show character tonight was awful. This show sucked mostly because of that, with other contributing factors mixed in. It's the kind of show I bet some people loved because they'll over inflate Punk's promo and Bryan's promo, thinking they were great and carried the show. They weren't, and they didn't. I figure next week Edge will return to talk to Big Show about his actions. Or maybe, Hunter will somehow trick Edge into thinking his job as a guest every once in a while is threatened if he doesn't do something to Daniel Bryan. Who knows? I sure don't. Three weeks until How I Met Your Mother, so there's that. Bye!
