New Details and Photo of TNA Knockout Rebel Revealed, How She Knows Christy Hemme !!

 

We noted before that the woman playing the Rebel character in TNA's recent vignettes with Knux was suggested to TNA by Christy Hemme as the two knew each other from before Hemme got into the wrestling business. We now know the woman is former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Tanea Brooks. Tanea also does modeling & dancing work. She knows Hemme from being on the Purrfect Angelz dance group. She has also appeared in several country music videos including Trace Adkins’ “Honkey Tonk Badonkadonk” video. Tanea recently relocated to Louisville, Kentucky to train at Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Chris Jericho Talks About The Streak Ending, His Own WWE Future, CM Punk, Sting, !!

Digital Spy recently spoke with Chris Jericho. Below are some highlights: 

How did you feel about the end of The Streak and how it happened? "I loved it, I thought it was great. It was a legitimate shock, it got everybody talking. I think the right guy got it, if you're going from a credibility standpoint, and if you're going from a believability standpoint. As much as people and fans and journalists want to believe that it's the case, I'm not sure if Undertaker had too many matches left in him. Maybe he doesn't want to wrestle again. Maybe he knew that he couldn't take any more. "It's a big, physical task to wrestle as it is, and once a year is hard. I wouldn't want to come and wrestle just once a year. That's even harder than wrestling 200 times a year, because your body's not used to it. And the older you get, the harder it gets, the more the aches and pains kick in. "Maybe The Undertaker decided that, 'I don't want to do this anymore'. And much to the fans' chagrin, who wish that we would wrestle until the day we die at 90 years old and explode into a puff of dust in the ring, sometimes you've got to make that decision. "If the time was now, Brock was the right guy for that day, and I thought it was amazing. And I would have hated it - hated it - if Undertaker would have retired without losing. I think that would have been a horrible way to go, I'm really happy that he lost The Streak." 

Will Daniel Bryan be able to maintain or even build on his success now he's got the belts? "I don't know, that's something you'll have to ask him. I always knew he'd get to that level, I always knew he'd be a top guy because he'd done it before everywhere else that he'd ever worked. It was no surprise to me. "Will he be able to sustain it? I guess that depends on him, on how he's booked, but he's definitely got the chops for it. He's a great performer, he's got a great connection with the fans. It took so long for them to pull the trigger, I think people were really excited to see it happen, and now that they've got their wish hopefully they continue to support him at the highest level." 

What do you think about the rumors of a CM Punk return? "I don't know, man, who knows, right? That's something that only he can answer for sure. To me, if he hasn't come back already, then... I left the WWE for two-and-a-half years in 2005. The only difference was I left when my contract was up, but I disappeared too, because I just was over it. I couldn't take it anymore, I wasn't interested in being there, I was getting miserable, so I know how he feels. "I had no intention of coming back, and after two-and-a-half years I watched Shawn Michaels vs John Cena at WrestleMania 23 and that inspired me to want to come back, but it took two-and-a-half years to get there. "So my answer is, 'I don't know', but I just know how I was when I did the same thing. It took a long time for me to be able to come back, and I was probably the same age as Punk is now too, so maybe he's going through the same thing and after a few years he'll come back." 

 How would you feel about Sting joining the WWE in some capacity? "Personally I don't really have any opinions either way. If he comes to the WWE, good for him, it's great. I saw him a couple of times in TNA and you know pretty much what he can do at this point in time. He is a legend and to have him come to the WWE for the first time would be great, but after a week or two what's he going to do there? "If you're a hardcore fan it might be cool - for me it doesn't really matter either way; if that's what he wants to do then good for him, and I hope he shows up. And if not, then I don't think it's going to make a difference either way in WWE business. It's not 1998 anymore, you know." 

And yourself - are you gearing up for one of your famous entrances?"Even if I was I wouldn't tell you! It's an open door policy on both of our ends to go back... I love wrestling - I always have, I still do but from the moment I left WWE back in July it's not like I've had a moment not doing something else. "There's a lot of stuff going on - by design. Four or five years ago I realized that I'm not going to be wrestling forever - I don't want to be wrestling forever, I can't wrestle forever. Because the day that comes that I can't have a match that I think is worthy of Chris Jericho, I'm not going to do it. Now, that could be tomorrow, that could be ten years from now, but when it's done, what do I do? "If the time comes for my schedule, and the WWE's schedule - the last thing they're doing is waiting around for Chris Jericho to come back, they've got other things to think about. And what will I be doing when I come back? "I spoke to them in November about coming back in January, but neither of us could really agree on what it was I would be doing, and not in a bad way. If I'm going to come back, what am I going to be doing at WrestleMania? "Let's see, we've got Batista coming back, we've got Brock Lesnar coming back, we've got Undertaker coming back, we've got Hulk Hogan coming back, we've got the ascension of Bray Wyatt, we've got the ascension of The Shield, Cesaro's ready to go and Daniel Bryan's ready to go. Where do I fit in? "People were like, 'Are you going to come back and be in the André the Giant Battle Royal?' Absolutely not. I would never come back for that. Not that there's anything wrong with being in that, but why would Chris Jericho, six-time world champion, come back just to be in a Battle Royal? It doesn't make any sense, it would have to be something I could sink my teeth into, something of merit. Something worthwhile in my mind. "That doesn't mean coming back just to work for the world title, it could mean coming back to work with anybody, but there has to be a story and a reason behind it. If there isn't, there's no reason for me to come back and I'm not interested in that. "The same with the WWE - like I said, I talk to them all the time, we have a great relationship, but if it doesn't work for both of us, then it won't happen. When the time comes where it does, then it will. It's as simple as that."

Former Champion Close to Signing a New Deal with TNA, Will Also Work as X Division Agent !!

Former WWE and TNA talent Low Ki is reportedly in the final stages of signing a new deal with TNA. The deal will see him work for TNA as a wrestler in the X Division and as an agent for X Division matches. The hope is that Ki will improve that division. Low Ki worked TNA's One Night Only: Xtravaganza pay-per-view tapings earlier this month and had a very successful night.

Update on WWE Possibly Signing Prince Devitt !

Prince Devitt is done with New Japan Pro Wrestling and still has a standing offer from WWE. It's said that Devitt joining WWE isn't a "dead issue" yet.

TNA NEWS: Impact TV ratings are in - did Impact rebound from recent year-low territory?

TNA Impact on Thursday, May 2 scored a 0.93 rating, up from a 0.85 and 0.83 rating the past two weeks, but still in the lower-third of this year's TV ratings.

Impact drew 1.131 million viewers, up four percent from last week's audience of 1.090 million viewers.

Despite the overall rating increasing, Impact declined one-tenth of a rating in the key male demos of m18-34 & m18-49. It appears a portion of Impact's older audience beyond the m18-49 window returned to Impact this week.

- On cable TV Thursday night, Impact ranked #35 in overall viewers and a distant #20 in m18-34 & #24 in m18-49. The m18-49 rating and rank were at year-low levels.

Impact's top cable TV competition, the NBA Playoffs, drew four million viewers, which was in the range of how the First Round has fared thus far.

- One year ago this week, Impact drew a similar 0.94 rating and 1.104 million viewers.

WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: US TITLE MATCH; CONTRACT SIGNING; WYATT FAMILY IN ACTION; AND MORE!!

This week’s show starts off with a video package showing how we got to this Sunday’s match between Evolution and The Shield.

We are in Kansas City, Missouri and your announcers are John ‘Chief’ Layfield and Michael ‘Royal’ Cole.
We start off with the contract signing at the official contract signing table. Vickie Guerrero is the host of the signing for the weeLC Match between Hornswoggle and El Torito.
Heath Slater says that Hornswoggle has a few demands before he will sign the contract. Drew gives Slater the demands. Slater says that Hornswoggle wants all green mini M&Ms, 200 copies of 3MB’s greatest hits playing while he is training, 10 copies of Rudy on Blu-Ray.
El Torito interrupts and he tells 3MB to listen to him. Diego translates and he says that if you mess with the bull, you get the horns.
Slater asks if that is what is going to happen.
Vickie tries to get things back under control. She says that this is a WWE Sanctioned contract signing so she wants this nice and short. Vickie laughs at her own joke.
Hornswoggle signs the contract and then Torito throws the pen away and Fernando gets an inkpad and Torito puts his hoof print on the contract.
Hornswoggle tells Torito that after Sunday, he will prove that he is the bigger man. They elevate each other’s chairs to see who is taller. Mahal gets something for Hornswoggle to sit on. Torito stands on his chair. They both get on the table and they go face to horns. Hornswoggle pushes Torito and Torito pushes Hornswoggle.
Hornswoggle with air guitar while Torito gyrates. They fight on the contract table until they are separated. Torito gores Hornswoggle and then Fernando and Diego clothesline Slater and Drew over the top rope to the floor. Torito with a springboard senton onto 3MB and Hornswoggle.
Match Number One: Rob Van Dam versus Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter)
Before the match starts, the warning sirens go off and Cesaro makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman.
Swagger runs Van Dam into the corner and Swagger with knees. Swagger with another knee and a hip toss. Swagger hits the double jump Swagger Bomb for a near fall. Swagger with a belly-to-belly slam for a near fall. Swagger has a kick blocked and Van Dam with a step over heel kick and Swagger goes to the floor.
Swagger with a forearm to Cesaro, who was not looking and Van Dam with a baseball slide. Swagger moves when Van Dam tries for a moonsault. Swagger with a clothesline and Swagger is stopped briefly by Cesaro and that allows Van Dam to hit a spinning heel kick. Van Dam goes up and hits the Five Star Frog Splash for the three count.
Winner: Rob Van Dam
After the match, Cesaro attacks Van Dam and he gives Rob a Gotch Style Neutralizer.
Paul tells Cole that he can say that Cesaro is extreme.

We are back with a BOLIEVE video for Bo Dallas.
Before our next match, Lana makes her way onto the stage to tell everyone that you revolt against his desires and it shall end in severe consequences. She calls everyone silly Americans, just like their leaders invoking sanctions against Mother Russia. Now derailing the will of the Bulgarian Brute will initiate a result that is brutal and permanent.
Match Number Two: Alexander Rusev (with Lana) versus R Truth (with Xavier Woods)
They lock up and Rusev runs Truth into the corner and he connects with knees. Truth with a punch but Rusev with punches and kicks to Truth. Truth with a kick and punches but Rusev with a knee. Truth sends Rusev into the corner and Truth with a split and leg lariat. Truth with a leg lariat that sends Rusev to the floor. Woods says something to Rusev and Rusev punches Woods.
Truth with a plancha but Rusev catches him and runs Truth into the apron. Rusev moves towards Truth but Woods attacks Truth from behind and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Alexander Rusev (by disqualification)
After the match Truth with a drop kick. Woods and Truth with a double drop kick that sends Rusev to the floor. Woods with a flip dive onto Rusev. Truth drop kicks Rusev off the apron.

Daniel Bryan comes to the ring to address the people of Kansas City.
Daniel says that we are all the same. He is no different than anybody in the world and no different than anybody in Kansas City. We stand up for what we believe in. We fight for what we have. We overcome insurmountable odds every day. We take care of our families.
Ask anyone. Our number one priority is to protect our families. This Sunday, with faith, hope, and a whole lot of determination and heart, Daniel says that he will walk into the match at Extreme Rules as champion and he will walk out as WWE World Chamipon.
This is about more than the title. He has been beaten up, he has been beaten up, he has been attacked, and he has been put in a neck brace. Daniel does not care because Kane put his hands on his wife. This is more than a match. This is more than a fight. This is a war.
This Sunday at Extreme Rules, by any means necessary, the Devil’s Favorite Demon is going home. Even if he has to go with him, he will be sending Kane straight to hell.
Kane appears on the TitanTron and he tells Daniel that he says that like it is a bad thing. Kane says that he likes it. When they arrive together, he will give Daniel a tour. He says that it is something like this . . . and we see a video package.
Kane says that if putting his hands on Brie is bad, he has not even shown Daniel the depths of his depravity. Kane laughs maniacally while Daniel takes off his neck brace.
Bray Wyatt tells the people of Kansas City that they’re here.
Match Number Three: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Sheamus versus Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan
Jey and Harper start things off and Harper with a kick and uppercut followed by a punch. Jey with an uppercut and punches to Harper. Harper with an Irish whip but Jey gets a boot up and he gets a near fall with a rollup. Jey with a kick and uppercut to Harper. Jey with a flying shoulder tackle for a near fall.
Jey with a wrist lock and Sheamus tags in and he punches Harper. Sheamus with more punches but Harper with punches. Sheamus with punches and kicks. Harper backs Sheamus into the corner and Erick Rowan tags in. Rowan tags in and he connects with head butts and punches. Rowan runs Sheamus into the turnbuckles.
Harper tags back in and he connects with a double thrust to the chest and punch. Sheamus with punches. Harper with an Irish whip but Sheamus gets Harper up for the Finlay Slam. Sheamus with a knee drop and he gets a near fall. Sheamus tries for a neck breaker but Harper escapes and he punches Sheamus. Rowan tags in and he Irish whips Sheamus but he misses a charge into the corner. Sheamus with a shoulder tackle and knee lift. Sheamus charges into an elbow from Rowan.
Sheamus with a cross body to Rowan and both men go over the top rope to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Harper with a forearm and Sheamus with a punch. Wyatt tags in and he kicks Sheamus. Wyatt chokes Sheamus with his boot and the referee warns him. Wyatt puts Sheamus in the turnbuckles and he hits a splash into the corner and he sends Sheamus to the mat. Wyatt crawls to Sheamus and he kicks Sheamus in the back to prevent the tag. He pulls Sheamus into the corner and Rowan tags in and connects with a knee drop. Rowan with a slam.
Rowan with punches in the corner and Harper tags in and Harper Irish whips Rowan into the corner and he splashes Sheamus. Harper with a super kick to Sheamus for a near fall. Harper knocks Jey off the apron and Sheamus hits a uranage back breaker. Jimmy tags in and he clotheslines Harper followed by a super kick and uppercut.
Jimmy with a Samoan drop followed by two savate kicks to Harper. Harper blocks a third attempt and Jimmy with an enzuigiri. Rowan goes over the top rope when he charges at Jimmy. Jimmy with a butt splash into the corner and then he knocks Wyatt off the apron. Harper moves when Jimmy goes for a corkscrew senton. Harper with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.
Jey takes Harper down before Luke can give Jey a curb stomp. Rowan sends Jey over the top rope to the floor. Sheamus with a Brogue Kick to Rowan. Wyatt with a clothesline that sends Sheamus to the floor. Jimmy sends Wyatt over the top rope. Wyatt tags in and Jimmy with a super kick to Harper, but he is not the legal man in the match. Wyatt with Sister Abigail for the three count.
Winners: Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt
After the match, Jey with a plancha onto Rowan and Harper but Wyatt attacks Jey. Sheamus attacks Wyatt and then he goes after Rowan and Harper as the fight continues on the floor. They send Sheamus into the ring steps. Harper stands in the ring over Jimmy and then he gives Jimmy a discus lariat.

Match Number Four: Dolph Ziggler versus Damien ‘Magneto’ Sandow
Ziggler does not know what to think about Sandow. Ziggler with a hip toss into an arm bar. Ziggler with an arm bar but Sandow backs Ziggler into the corner and he connects with a head butt. Ziggler with an Irish whip and splash into the corner and a neck breaker. Ziggler with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Sandow sends Ziggler into the ropes and then Sandow with a leaping swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Sandow punches and kicks Ziggler in the corner. Sandow tries for a suplex but Ziggler with an inside cradle for a near fall. Sandow with a clothesline for a near fall. Sandow with a chin lock with the arm trapped. Ziggler with a jawbreaker but Sandow with a knee.
Sandow with a side Russian leg sweep followed by the Elbow of Disdain. Ziggler with punches and Sandow stops Ziggler using his ‘powers’ and Ziggler realizes that Sandow has no powers. Ziggler with a drop kick and Zig Zag for the three count.

Match Number Five: Big E versus Titus O’Neil in a Non Title Match
Big E with a waist lock and take down. Big E with a shoulder tackle and he tries for a slam but Titus gets to his feet. Big E with a shoulder tackle and he sends Titus to the floor. Titus throws Big E over the announce table. Titus punches and kicks Big E. Titus throws Big E onto the announce table and then throws him to the floor. Titus sends Big E back into the ring and he punches Big E.
Titus with a kick and he taunts Big E. Titus with forearms to the head. Titus with punches to Big E and the referee warns Big E. Titus with a back breaker on his shoulders and he drops down to add more impact on the back. Titus kicks Big E and the referee calls for the bell because Titus did not listen to his warnings.
Winner: Big E (by disqualification)
After the match, Titus barks, but Big E goes after Titus and he sends Titus into the ringside barrier. Big E tries to send Titus into the ring steps but Titus trips on the cable. Big E sends Titus into the ring steps and then the announce table. Big E sends Titus into the ringside barrier again. Big E sends Titus over the announce table and then he sends Titus into the ring and he stands on Titus’ chest.

We are back and members of the Kansas City Chiefs are in the front row.
We take a look back at what happened on Raw between John Cena and Bray Wyatt.
We see a record player and Bray plays the record and it is the choir from Raw singing. Bray stops the record player. He says what beautiful music children. Oh John, if you could only have seen your face on Monday night, it was priceless. Those children reached inside your bleeding heart and pulled your soul out, and handed it to him. They trust him John. Bray says that he believes the children are his future. He offered them hope and a way out. He offered them love and understanding. His word is the word they shall follow and his light is what shall lead them.
At Extreme Rules, it has become so much more than a steel cage match. It will be the reckoning of the entire Cenation. When he climbs out of the cage, he will be taking them all. They will be his and what will that leave John with? Nothing. Just a withered old man, rotting alone with a decrepit old heart.

Match Number Six: Dean Ambrose versus Curtis Axel versus Ryback versus Alberto Del Rio in a Fatal Four Way Match for the United States Championship
All three challengers surround Ambrose and Dean goes after Ryback and then Axel. Ambrose punches Axel but Del Rio kicks Ambrose and all three men work over Ambrose. Axel with a kick and Ryback with a punch. Del Rio chokes Dean in the ropes. Dean punches and chops Ryback but Axel and Del Rio work over Dean.
Ryback with kicks and then Del Rio sends Ambrose to the floor. Axel with a rollup on Del Rio for a near fall and Ryback wants to know why he did that. Del Rio with a rollup on Ryback for a near fall. Axel sends Del Rio to the floor and they go face to face until Ambrose attacks Ryback from behind. Dean kicks Axel in the back of the leg and Axel flips.
Ryback with a spinebuster and he sends Ambrose to the floor with some help from Axel. Axel and Ryback corner Del Rio and we go to commercial.
We are back and Ryback punches Del Rio in the corner and Axel with a punch as well followed by a chop. Ryback with a chop to Del Rio. Axel runs into an elbow from Del Rio and Del Rio avoids Ryback and Del Rio with a lungblower for a near fall. Axel kicks Del Rio. Axel with a knee to the head and he gets a near fall.
Ambrose punches Axel and Ryback punches Ambrose. Ambrose is sent to the floor and Ryback and Axel send Ambrose back first into the ringside barrier. Del Rio with a baseball slide to Ryback on the floor. Axel with a drop kick to Del Rio for a near fall. Del Rio with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker to Axel. Del Rio with a German suplex and bridge on Ryback for a near fall. Ambrose breaks up the cover. Ambrose punches Del Rio.
Ambrose with a Thesz Press and he punches Del Rio. Ryback picks up Ambrose but Ambrose slaps Ryback. Ryback goes over the top rope to the floor. Del Rio with a kick and punch. Ambrose with a kick and drop kick against the ropes. Axel with a forearm to the back of Ambrose’s head. Axel sets for the fisherman’s suplex but Ambrose escapes. Ambrose uses the ropes to rebound and he hits a lariat for a near fall.
Ryback pulls Ambrose to the floor and then he sends Ambrose into the Garcia Cubicle. Del Rio with a step up enzuigiri to Ryback. Axel with a fisherman’s suplex but Del Rio kicks out at two. Axel puts Del Rio on the turnbuckles and Axel with a chop before he tries for the superplex. Del Rio pushes Axel off and Axel is caught in the turnbuckles. Del Rio with a double stomp but Axel gets to the ropes to stop the count.
Del Rio pulls down the knee pad for the super kick but Axel moves. Ryback tries to clothesline Del Rio but Alberto moves and Ryback clotheslines Axel. Del Rio floats over into the cross arm breaker but Ryback picks up Del Rio and sets for the marching muscle buster and he hits it but Axel pulls Ryback off Del Rio.
Axel rolls into the ring and he crawls across the ring but Ambrose with a La Magistral on Axel for the three count.
Winner: Dean Ambrose
After the match, Ryback attacks Ambrose and so does Axel. Rollins and Reigns make their way to the ring and Rollins sends Axel to the floor while Reigns hits a spear on Ryback. Rollins with a suicide dive onto Axel. Reigns sets for the Superman Punch and Axel is rolled into the ring and Reigns hits the Superman Punch on Axel.
Ambrose and Rollins pick up Axel for the Cerberus Bomb.

Update on Kenta possibly coming to WWE !!

As noted, top Japanese star KENTA is leaving Pro Wrestling NOAH and speculation is that he's headed to WWE after working an informal tryout earlier this year. KENTA spoke to media in Japan and said that he's beginning a new challenge in his life at 33 years old. His NOAH contract expired on April 30th but he will work two show on a per-show deal - May 3rd for NOAH and then his farewell show on May 17th. It's still not confirmed that KENTA is joining WWE but most believe that to be the case. There's speculation that he could join New Japan Pro Wrestling as well. WWE issued this response to F4Wonline.com when asked about KENTA coming in: "Unfortunately, we do not have any further information to share at this time. We will keep you posted if/when we have any news on him."

Paige and she is the Divas Champion. It is like NXT is taking over the world. Hunter says it gets better. On May 29th, there will be a live, two hour special from Full Sail. The name of that special will be “NXT Takeover”. We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Tom ‘The Midweek Treat’ Phillips, Byron ‘Did you know I went to the same college as Titus O’Neil’ Saxton, and William ‘Just give me the mic’ Regal. Winner: Adam Rose After the match, the entourage makes its way to the ring but Camacho attacks a member of the group and goes up the ramp. Brodus Clay is asked about his match against Adrian Neville. He says everything has been taken away from him and now he is taking things away from people. He took away Adrian’s smile by breaking a few of his teeth. Now he will take the title because he is the baddest in the world. Natalya says that she has competed against many of the NXT Divas and they are phenomenal. Being in NXT is like coming back home. Layla says that she is so excited to be part of the tournament because she will be dancing to the title because what Layla wants, Layla gets. Match Number Four: Natalya versus Layla El in a First Round NXT Women’s Championship Tournament Match They lock up and Layla with an arm drag and she dances to celebrate the ability to do a move. Neville with a drop kick in the corner and then he hits a back heel kick and elbow to the back of the head. Neville goes up top and Clay pushes him into the turnbuckles. Clay kicks and punches Neville. Clay puts Neville in the tree of woe and he connects with a splash. Clay with an Exploder followed by an elbow drop for a near fall. We start off by looking back at Sacrifice as Eric Young retained his TNA World Title against Magnus, then Young is backstage talking about how nobody thought he'd win the title, nobody thought he'd retain it this weekend, and he's about to keep the momentum going. He comes into MVP's office and MVP put him over for being the complete opposite type of champion from the cowardly Magnus. Young says he wants to defend the title tonight, and MVP already has a plan: he brings in Ken Anderson, Gunner, and Bobby Roode and has them draw cards, with the two men with the lowest draw facing each other and the high draw facing the winner of that match, and then the winner of that second match goes on to challenge EY. Got it? Okay, Gunner and Anderson both draw a 4, and Bobby Roode draws an Ace (which Anderson confirmed before drawing that Ace is high). So there we go. Magnus is in the ring and wants to know why the best wrestler in TNA isn't involved in the World Title picture tonight and he demands MVP come out and give him answers, but instead Abyss comes out of the crowd and beats the snot out of him. Magnus tries to avoid a chokeslam by kicking Abyss low, but Abyss shrugs it off and chokeslams Magnus anyway. The fans chant for Janice, so Abyss obliges by pulling his old girlfriend out from under the ring and comes after Magnus with it. Magnus heads for the hills, and Abyss stands in the ring raising Janice high and daring Magnus to come back. Mike Tenay and Taz run down the card for tonight, but Bully Ray interrupts by coming down to ringside with a table as we look back at this past weekend when Dixie Carter cost him the win in the tables match. He leans the table, which has Dixie's name spraypainted across it, in the corner and grabs a microphone. He talks about how the woman he'd prefer not to name shoved him through two tables and caused him to bruise two ribs, fracture a third, but he's still standing, and it'll take a lot more than her to cost him his career. He promises, so help him God, that if he sees her tonight in this building, she's going through that table. Dixie arrives in her limo and blows off the mystery cameraman when he tries to ask her about Sacrifice. Guess we'll find out what she's got on her mind later on tonight. Spud sees Dixie backstage and tries to cover her with a tablecloth, saying that nobody smartened her up. Dixie says she's plenty smart and asks what he's doing. Spud says that Bully Ray wants to put her through a table, but Dixie says Bubba is all talk, and that if anyone should be worried around here tonight, it should be Bubba because she does not like being threatened. Contender's Mini-Tournament - Phase One: Ken Anderson vs Gunner They start slow until Anderson takes Gunner's head off with a hard clothesline, then tries to ground him with a side headlock. Gunner hits a Razor Ramon fallaway slam when Anderson tries a crossbody. James Storm runs out to try and distract Gunner, he goes for a leaping enziguiri but nails Anderson, and Gunner quickly hits the F5 for the win. Winner: Gunner Strangely, Storm doesn't seem to broken up by this faux pas. Magnus is getting ready in the locker room when someone I didn't recognize shows up. He says they need to talk, but we're at commercial. We're back, and Magnus' friend says that the shirt and tie thing isn't him, and reminds him of all the time they spent getting drunk and getting into fights. He says that Magnus has become an embarrassment, and he grabs Magnus by the shirt, slams him into the wall, and tells him that he's here for his own good. Ethan Carter III is in the ring and says that in seven days, he's having the biggest match of his career when he goes one on one with Kurt Angle. The match was supposed to take place at Lockdown, but he destroyed Angle's knee and sent him surgery. But now Kurt Angle is back, and that makes EC3 very happy because there's no way he can validate himself as a professional, a man, and a new American icon until he defeats Kurt Angle. He's never been pinned or submitted and he doesn't plan to start now. He has Angle in a week, but he has a surprise tonight. The crowd asks him where his boyfriend is, and EC3 says it's funny they mention that because he was 288-0 at Boca Raton Prep School, and now he is going to show his stuff in a sparring session with his favorite sparring partner: Spud! They pretend to mat wrestle for a bit, then EC3 tells Spud to assume position, referring of course to the down referee's position. Kurt Angle comes out and says that's cute and he'd love to come down and school them right now, but he won't be sparring with Spud next week, he'll be wrestling a Kurt Angle who is out for blood. He's going to put EC3 in the ankle lock and twist and crank until it breaks, and even then he won't stop. He tells EC3 to enjoy walking for the next week, because in seven days, it gets DAMN REAL. The Beautiful People are backstage talking about how great their celebration is going to be, and how jealous the other Knockouts are going to be when they see them. Knux is riding around with his girl, whose name we learn is Rebel, and she thinks they're going to TNA just the two of them, but he has news for her: it's going to be four of them. Knux, Rebel...and also Crazy Steve and the Freak. Rebel isn't happy, but Knux says the deal is done and they're going to pick them up now. By the way, the Menagerie is coming to TNA! Looks like a circus gimmick...YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY, RUSSO! Contender's Mini-Tournament - Phase Two: Gunner vs Bobby Roode Roode fires off some shots early, but Gunner shrugs it all off and fires right back on Roode and covers for 2. They go out to the floor where Roode rams Gunner into the ring steps, then brings him back inside and covers for 2. Roode hits a Blockbuster for 2 and then goes to a kneeling surfboard. Roode tries coming off the second rope again, but Gunner catches and slams him, then hits a DDT for 2. Gunner counters a Roode Bomb and goes for the kill, but Roode avoids him and hits the Roode Bomb on the second try and gets the win. Winner: Bobby Roode Roode will now challenge his former partner Eric Young for the TNA World Title later on tonight. Dixie Carter is backstage, and she's...SURROUNDED BY SECURITY! She tells them they know what to do, and we'll find out what that is after this commercial break! The Beautiful People are backstage and they got a letter from the TNA Board of Directors telling them they need to dress respectably now that Angelina is the Knockouts Champion. They decide they'll play along and wear evening gowns since they're classy, but who knows what they're going to be wearing by the time the night is over. Dixie Carter comes out with her security team and says she's Dixie Carter, the woman who put Bully Ray through a table. She'll never forget how Bubba doublecrossed her at Lockdown, and now he'll never forget how a lady put him through a table for the first time. She mocks the Twittah Machine and how this little bitty girl damaged the big bully's ribs, and says how dare he bring the table with her name spraypainted on it to HER ring to try and intimidate her. She won't be intimidated by her, it'll be the other way around because Bully Ray should fear Dixie Carter. Bully Ray comes out and says the TNA fans want to see him put her through a table, then asks Dixie if she really thinks he fears her. He asks the security guys standing in his way if they really think they're going to stop him from getting to the table, and asks if they really want to stick up for her and stand in his way when he knows what they'll do to them. They all know deep down how much they'd love to see him put Dixie through a table, then tells them to do the right thing and just walk away. The security guys seem to agree with that and step aside, but Dixie has three more in the ring with her who aren't going anywhere. Bubba gives those three until the count of five, and if they aren't gone by then, he's going to slide into the ring and kick the crap out of each of them before putting Dixie through a table. The fans quickly count to five for him, so Bubba rushes the ring, cleans all three of their clocks, and grabs Dixie. He gets ready to put her through the table, but MVP comes out and says that as much as it pains him to say this, he tells Bubba to leave her alone. He has a lot to deal with already and doesn't need to deal with this, so until further notice, they're both barred from the Impact Zone. Okay then! Willow vs James Storm Willow tries a dive at Storm's leg right off the bell, but Storm blocks it and just starts beating the crap out of Willow. Willow escapes the Eye of the Storm and comes back with trademark Jeff Hardy stuff (and by the way, I don't think I've ever seen the announcers mention an alter ego's real identity as often as Willow since the days of Dude Love/Cactus Jack/Mankind). They go out to the floor where Willow springboards off the ring steps and smashes Storm into the barricade, but Storm dodges another charge and Willow sends himself crashing into the steps. Storm does something I didn't catch because I was typing and gets disqualified. Winner: Willow by DQ Storm smashes his beer bottle to make a parking lot knife, but Willow bashes him with the $39.95 At ShopTNA.com Umbrella and sends him scurrying up the ramp and right into the clutches of Ken Anderson, who goes after him to get revenge for earlier. The Bromans are backstage bitching about MVP putting them in an unfair 3-on-2 match with the Wolves at Sacrifice, so MVP makes a match tonight with the three of them against the Wolves and their special partner. The Bromans leave and Bully Ray comes in and says that MVP is the Director of Wrestling Operations because he made sure he kept the job. He asks what MVP was doing earlier, and MVP says he's responsible for everything that happens in that ring and can't have Bubba beating up Dixie Carter out there, but he also mentions he has no jurisdiction over what happens outside the arena, then he puts his glasses on and walks off. Eric Young The Bromans vs The Wolves & Sanada The Bromans try jumping the championship team before the bell, but they quickly get driven to the floor and taken out with a series of dives. The champs take turns pummeling Robbie with kicks, and the Bromans briefly trap Eddie in their corner, but he breaks free and tags Davey in to clean house. Zema winds up caught by himself and takes a moonsault from Sanda and the double double stomp from the Wolves for 3. Winners: Sanada & The Wolves Good match, but the Bromans will get one more shot at the Wolves for the title next week. The Beautiful People are backstage in the evening gowns they just happened to bring to the arena with them, and they're ready to go out their and show everyone what they have in store. We come back from commercial and the Beautiful People come down to the ring and read the letter from the Board of Directors, then say that if they're told not to do something, they're going to do it. They start stripping, then stop and laugh at the fans for thinking they were going to show them their goodies. They admit to writing the letter themselves, and basically just did it to screw with the fans. Angelina puts herself over as the greatest Knockouts Champion of all time, but Gail Kim comes out to get in their face about making a mockery out of the division she helped build. She said if they want to strip, she'll strip them of everything, then proceeds to lay a beating into both girls and take the belt. The BPs backtracks up the rampway and run into Madison Rayne and Brittany, who get a few shots in as well before Velvet and Angelina scurry off to the back. Eric Young and Bobby Roode are backstage, and they're...WALKING! The World Title is on the line...NEXT! It's main event time! TNA World Title Match: Eric Young vs Bobby Roode The fans chant "Super Eric" as the champion runs his former partner over with a shoulderblock. Young ducks around Roode to send him out to the floor, then takes him out with a baseball slide as we go to commercial. We're back as Roode whips EY into the ring steps, then brings Young back inside and tries to ground him with a full nelson. Young escapes that and mounts a comeback, planting Roode with a belly to belly suplex and then taking Roode out with a dive when he tries to escape to the floor. Young brings Roode back inside and takes him out with a missile dropkick for 2, then gets a crucifix for another 2. Roode hits a spinebuster for a close 2, then dodges a corssbody and goes to the second rope. Young catches Roode coming off with a shot to the gut, then hits the piledriver for 2. Roode dodges a top rope elbow and hits the Roode Bomb, but Young kicks out at 2. They trade blows in the middle of the ring, Roode comes out on top and puts Young on the top rope to go for a super Roode Bomb, but Young fights him off and hits the top rope elbow for the win. Winner: Eric Young Young retains again, and shows what a swell guy he is by helping Roode back to his feet after the match. Bully Ray is in the parking lot and the mystery cameraman asks him what he's still doing there since MVP banned him from the Impact Zone. Top Japanese Star In WWE??

It was announced this morning in Japan that Pro Wrestling NOAH star KENTA (real name Kenta Kobayashi, 33 years old) would be leaving the promotion, with his final appearance being 5/17. As PWInsider.com broke in January, KENTA spent a week at the WWWE Performance Center, training and working out with developmental talents. Upon his return to Japan, he downplayed the time spent in Orlando, Florida, claiming he wanted to take part in WWE's training and a break in the NOAH schedule allowed him to do so. In a blog entry, KENTA wrote, "It is indeed true that I have always been yearning for a spot in WWE, and I’ve always wanted to give it a try sometime. After all, you only live once. “I should have given it a try.” “I should have chosen another way.” I’ve had those regrets when I was in my middle and high school, and even after I got in to this business. I just did not want to regret later about something I haven’t tried, so I used my time off to participate in the WWE workout. The executives were at the workout, so perhaps I may have left a mark." With the announcement that he is leaving NOAH, a promotion has he been with since it formed, the obvious question is whether KENTA is leaving for a WWE deal? Obviously, it's easy to assume such (and it's possible those assumptions are correct) but we don't have 100% confirmation on that. KENTA debuted for All Japan Pro Wrestling in 2000 but quickly left for Pro Wrestling NOAH when the late Mitsuharu Misawa led an exodus of talent and management from AJPW to form his own company. Over the last 14 years, KENTA rose from an undercard talent to one of the best workers in the world and is credited with the creation of Go To Sleep, a move later popularized in the United States when former WWE champion CM Punk adopted it as his finishing maneuver. Stateside, he is best known for appearances in Ring of Honor, including incredible bouts with Low Ki and then-ROH champion Bryan (Daniel Bryan) Danielson. When KENTA returned to Japan following his one-week workout at the Performance Center, he claimed that he wasn't seeking a WWE deal but if one was offered, it would be something he would be interested in pursuing, noting his dream was always to wrestle for WWE. In due time, we will see if that dream has come true, but the loss of KENTA is a major hole that NOAH will have to try and fill - one that won't be easy.

WHY BROOKE TESSMACHER HAS NOT BEEN ON TNA IMPACT WRESTLING LATELY

ANOTHER WWE RELEASE!

PWInsider.com has confirmed that WWE has released WWE NXT Diva Sarah Backman, an arm wrestling champion from Sweden, who was signed in March 2013. We are told that Backman, who was christened Shara in WWE developmental, requested and received her release several days ago.

Global Force Wrestling announces working agreement with AAA!

Global Force Wrestling sent out the following: April 30 GFW REACHES AGREEMENT WITH TOP MEXICAN PROMOTION NASHVILLE – Global Force Wrestling has reached a partnership agreement with AAA, the top wrestling promotion in Mexico for more than 20 years. The companies will exchange talent for events in both the United States and Mexico. TNA IMPACT SPOILERS FROM ORLANDO, FL... HEEL TURNS NIGHT!

Here are the results of the Impact tapings for shows that will air on 5/8 and 5/15. They may have taped things out of order. MVP does a promo and introduces TNA champ Eric Young. He does a big spiel about the Slammiversary challenger but no one comes out. He then lays out Young and announces it is himself. *Willow defeated Magnus by DQ when a new bodyguard, Bram, attacked Willow. Bram destroyed Willow bigtime to get the new character over. He was formerly Kenneth Cameron from an early version of The Ascension in WWE developmental. *In an evening gown match, The Beautiful People beat Brittany and Madison Rayne. *In a ladder match, TNA Tag Team champions The Wolves defeated The BroMans. *Kazarian defeated Crazy Steve from Knux's crew. I was told he's a Canadian indy worker that goes by the same ring name. The Knux family gimmick has goofy lighting and the theme music plays the entire match, sort of like New Jack in ECW. This was played for laughs. *TNA champ Eric Young comes out for a promo. He and MVP go back and forth and EY says they can fight right now. *Willow defeated Bram and Magnus in a handicap match after Magnus was rolled up. Magnus and Bram teased an issue between the two...in their first match together. *James Storm defeated Mr. Anderson. *They show MVP and Young brawling in the back. Young gets lowblowed and MVP accepts the challenge. *Gail Kim pinned Velvet Sky. *TNA X-Division champion Sanada defeated Tigre Uno and Zema Ion. *TNA champ Eric Young defeated MVP by disqualification. Kenny King attacked Young. Lashley hit the ring for the save but attacked Young and all three destroyed him to go off the air. So, we have a new heel trio, sort of a take off of Evolution.
