Mitsuharu Misawa and young superstar, Go Shiozaki, would walk away the victors in both accounts, as they defeated the team of Sasaki and Morishima to not only claim two more points, but also the Global Tag League. In other league matches, Sugiura picked up another big scalp when he defeated Saito, making this a very successful campaign for him personally. Taniguchi would also pick up another big win, as he cradled up Yone.
Early reports have stated that the black masked figure unveiled himself to KENTA, as none-other then Ricky Marvin. Do not quote me on that, as it seems counter-productive to have him lose in the second match, and unveil himself after the third.
