We don't have the final rating in, but the show did about 3.14
million viewers. It was the lowest number in years, perhaps 15 or so,
but on Christmas Eve, nobody should have expected different.
This time it was the first hour that did the worst, instead of what
has been the case of late where the first hour often does the best.
2.94 million at 8 p.m.
3.27 million at 9 p.m.
3.22 million at 10 p.m.
The rating is likely to fall at about a 2.2, perhaps a 2.1. The
number is almost exactly what most had predicted so it's nothing to get
alarmed about. Raw is unlikely to get back to its usual levels until
Jan. 7 if Rock can make a huge difference, and Jan. 14 if he can't.
They are lucky football season ended or they would have likely fallen below a 2.0.
Update: 2.2, lowest since 1997, but that was expected given it was Christmas Eve.
