TNA NEWS: Impact TV ratings are in - how did Impact fare during WrestleMania Week?

TNA Impact on Thursday, April 4 scored a 1.10 rating, up from a 1.03 rating last week. The rating was the highest since a 1.13 rating on March 7.

Impact averaged 1.425 million viewers, up 100,000 viewers (8.0 percent) from last week's live show. It was tied with the Mar. 7 episode for most viewers of the last month.

- Facing no NCAA Tournament competition, Impact ranked #31 on cable TV Thursday night, #16 among males 18-34, and #13 among males 18-49.

Impact increased one-tenth of a rating in m18-34 after hitting a near-year-low last week, but younger male viewers declined this week.

- One year ago this week, Impact scored a 1.15 rating. The key male demographics were similar.

Caldwell's Analysis: Back to the usual 1.1 rating and it's a reminder that live vs. taped doesn't matter. Next week should see an increase for the heavily promoted show, though, unless wrestling viewers are worn out after four hours of WrestleMania and three hours of Monday's Raw.
