Paul London was unable to work
on yesterday's ROH on Sinclair TV Tapings in Toronto after suffering a
concussion against Davey Richards at the Border Wars iPPV the night
before.
The concussion occurred when Richards came off the top for a double
stomp but upon hitting London's chest, slipped due to the sweat on his
body and drilled London in the head full speed. The impact actually
knocked London out on his feet.
London noted on Twitter that despite that, he absolutely loved the match and working with Richards. The bout was London's first appearance for ROH since the 2003 Death Before Dishonor event, where he lost to then-ROH champion Samoa Joe in Elizabeth, NJ in his farewell after signing a WWF deal.
