UFC 160 Update!

UFC 160 is now official for 5/25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio Silva for the heavyweight title plus Junior Dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem in a match that will determine who gets the following title shot. Dana White had earmarked that double main pretty much as soon as the Silva vs. Overeem match ended but it was done enough to be announced on UFC Tonight on 2/12. Last year’s Memorial Day show was an all-heavyweight show that was a good promotion. But this year, already announced heavyweight fights including most of the top names seem to make that difficult. Those still not having a fight announced that would be ready if they weren’t hurt would include Stipe Miocic, Ben Rothwell, Shawn Jordan, Todd Duffee, Pat Barry and Shane Del Rosario.
