WWE Monday Night Raw live coverage from Nashville

Tonight's go-home show from Nashville notes:

Paul Heyman came out and first said this was the last day he would be in WWE, because Vince McMahon was out to get him and it would badly affect Punk, who needed to win the title Sunday.  Heyman did a long speech about ECW, Brock Lesnar and C.M. Punk.  Eventually Punk came out and wanted Heyman to stay and be by his side when he wins the title on Sunday.  The segment ended with Heyman changing his mind and agreeing to stay.  Heyman did a lot of hints about something bad about to happen to Punk which you could take as a hint of Undertaker.

Mark Henry b Great Khali very quickly with the world's strongest slam.  After the match, after Henry left, he came back in and gave the world's strongest slam to Hornswoggle.  Somehow Natalya disappeared in all this.  Maybe Henry ate her.

Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton tomorrow night will be the main event for Friday's Smackdown in a rematch.

Tonight:  John Cena & Sheamus & Ryback vs. 3MB.  Not kidding.

Booker, Teddy Long and Chris Jericho were backstage.  Jericho wanted in the Chamber, noting he'd been world champion six times, and had been in more Elimination Chamber matches than anyone in WWE.  Booker eventually agreed saying if Jericho beat someone in the Chamber, in this case Daniel Bryan, he could get into the Chamber.

Paul Heyman was backstage with Vickie Guerrero.  Heyman wanted a stipulation that if Rock loses by DQ or count out on Sunday, Punk gets the title.  Vince McMahon was on the phone and agreed to the stipulation, but Heyman has to do something in exchange, which wasn't mentioned.  Heyman was kissing up to Vince saying he considered him like a father figure, and while he was doing it, Vince hung up the phone on him.

Chris Jericho vs. Daniel Bryan:  Jericho won clean with the codebreaker.  Both worked as faces.  Very good match.  About what you'd expect from these two in a 10:00 match.

As far as the Chamber goes, Bryan is still in along with Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Jericho and one to be announced.  Rey Mysterio is out of the match.

John Cena & Sheamus & Ryback beat Drew McIntyre & Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal very quickly.  Cena pinned Mahal after the Attitude Adjustment.  It was a triple finish as Ryback used the Shellshock on Slater and Sheamus did white noise on McIntyre.

All three did a promo.  Ryback said a few words after satisfying his appetite.  Sheamus and Cena talked.  They tease the idea that Cena, Ryback and Sheamus are going to confront The Shield later in tonight's show.  Cena was booed like crazy.

Alex Riley and Yoshi Tatsu were making fun of Big Show in a pre-tape.  Show then knocked both of them out.

Big Show came out for an interview.  He knocked out Matt Striker right away.  He teased talking, never said a word, and then left.  Jerry Lawler explained that Show knew there was nothing he could say that could get past the censors.

They replayed the Bruno Sammartino Hall of Fame video and pushed how HHH was the one who made it happen.

Jack Swagger b Zack Ryder with the ankle lock.

Swagger is now managed by Zeb Coulter (think Ann Coulter), who is Dutch Mantell doing an anti-immigrant gimmick just a few days after that Nightline segment aired.  They're clearly building Swagger vs. Del Rio.

Dolph Ziggler & A.J., and Big E Langston are out.   Jack Swagger is in the Chamber, but a sixth person will be added.  Ziggler wants back in the Chamber to stop Jericho and then have the ability to have two future world title matches.  Booker said later in the show Ziggler will face Kane for the final spot.

Wednesday on Main Event has a Jericho Highlight Reel with Miz.

The Miz beat Cody Rhodes via DQ - Miz kicked Antonio Cesaro (doing commentary) in the face when he tried to interfere.  Later Cesaro drove Miz into the post for the  DQ.  After the match, Cesaro gave Miz a Giant Swing back and forth smashing him into the guard rail over and over.  That was an impressive spot.

Brodus Clay & Tensai beat Primo & Epico quickly when Tensai pinned Epico after a senton.  After the match, Naomi threw Rosa Mendes Rosa over the top rope and Cameron gave her a sliding kick.  Everyone danced when it was over.

The Shield did a long interview challenging Cena & Ryback & Sheamus to come out.  They didn't come out for a long time while the heels said their threats earlier int he show were empty promises.  Eventually the lights went out and Cena & Ryback & Sheamus ended up in the ring starting a brawl.  They knocked The Shield out of the ring and continued to brawl into the stands until The Shield ran off.  Crowd was chanting "Feed Me More" when it was over.  Segment was good for what it was supposed to be.

Damien Sandow did an interview ripping on Nashville and Country Music, saying people should listen to Beethoven and Mozart.

Then Alberto Del Rio beat Sandow with an armbar in 1:00.

Del Rio said Big Show's interview earlier in the show (where he said nothing) was tjhe best interview of his career.  Del Rio said after Sunday, Show can take his tour bus and go anywhere he wants, but he after Sunday is going to WrestleMania.

Bo Dallas backstage attacked Wade Barrett and was pulled off him.

Wade Barrett beat Kofi Kingston.  Barrett came in beaten up and still wrapped the side of the ring cover around Kingston and hit the bull hammer elbow and got the pin quickly.

Kane beat Dolph Ziggler for the final spot in the Chamber.  Match was okay.  Kane was on the top rope when A.J. jumped on the apron.  Kane missed the clothesline.  Ziggler accidentally backed into A.J. who flew off the apron but was caught by Big E Langston.  Ziggler checked on A.J., turned around and got choke slammed for the pin.

The final segment was with The Rock.  He came out and told a story about being 15 years old, going to high school in Nashville, not getting any action, so he hung out in a bar, made a reference to a surprise person came into the bar, and it wasn't Jeff Jarrett or bought a beat up car from a crackhead.  I think he said he was hanging out with Downtown Bruno at the time as well.  The story had a moral, although I'm not sure what it was past don't buy cars from crackheads.  He then talked about how he had his first match at the Nashville Fairgrounds (his first match was in Texas but he did work Nashville early in his career), how he worked for $40 a night, became WWE champion.  Punk came out and Rock cut a promo on he and Paul Heyman.  Rock challenged them to get in the ring.  Heyman told Punk that he had his back.  That was funny.  Punk teased he was backing off, then ran in.  Rock got the better of it with a spinebuster, went for the people's elbow, but Heyman tripped Rock.  Punk delivered the GTS and then stole the belt and the show ended, with no Undertaker sighting.
