Thursday's TNA Impact drew a 1.2 rating, which matches the rating the show drew last week. The highest rated segment was for the fifth quarter-hour, which drew a 1.28 for the conclusion of the Awesome Kong vs. Madison Rayne match, and the Motor City Machine Guns accusing Christopher Daniels of being Suicide.
Powell's POV: It's nice to see the Guns get some ratings love, as they have been one of the most entertaining acts in the company over the last few months. By the way, the opening segment drew a show-worst 1.01 rating. Although the rating has dropped from the 1.3 marks the show was hitting in previous weeks, the show is now going head-to-head with the NBA playoffs on TNT.
Impact did a 1.2 cable rating last night -- a 1.02 in M18-49, a 0.71 in P18-49, a 0.99 in M18-34, and an average audience of 1.6 million viewers.
TNA was the #2 cable program in its time period among M18-49 and M18-34 bested only by the NBA Playoffs on TNT.
The Qtr hours - 1.01, 1.09, 1.15, 1.11, 1.28, 1.20, 1.14, and 1.22
