Alberto Del Rio Turn Update

Regarding the Alberto Del Rio turn, as noted in last week's issue it had been under discussion. Originally, it wasn't supposed to happen so soon, but with Randy Orton out of action until early January (his injury, which was to his shoulder and not his wrist as originally reported, was minor and should only keep him out a few weeks) they felt they needed to rush a babyface turn. If you're wondering why they had to rush a Del Rio babyface turn only to have him do goofy six-mans teaming with Brooklyn Brawler and Tommy Dreamer, well, I don't know what to tell you about that one. Because of the turn it appears the storyline romance with Rosa Mendes has been dropped. Del Rio will likely be feuding with Antonio Cesaro, which would play into Cesaro's catch phrase that no American can beat him.
