ROH wrestlers contract situation

Before the show started, Shelton Benjamin asked if he could be released from his contract. It’s not necessarily that he will be leaving ROH, but he did want out of the contract to allow him to talk with WWE, which expressed interest in him recently. WWE sources indicate Benjamin’s name has come up and that Benjamin wants to return but there is no deal on the table, although he definitely has supporters in the company. They still went with the original booking decision to put Benjamin & Charlie Haas over B.J. Whitmer & Rhett Titus in the street fight. 

A number of wrestlers contracts are expiring shortly, one of whom is Mike Bennett, who has the WWE look. Bennett with Maria Kanellis would be a major league act.
