Smackdown live coverage from Pittsburgh

The show opened with Miz TV, interviewing Dolph Ziggler, A.J. Lee and Big E Langston as the bodyguard.  A.J. said it was all John Cena's fault because he toyed with her heart and he wouldn't take their love to the next level.  Ziggler and A.J. were making out.  The segment ended up with Big E Langston as the bodyguard who is her friend who doesn't like when people call her crazy.  Ziggler called A.J. passionate. The segment ended with Langston laying out Miz with his move after Miz questioned A.J.'s sanity.

Teddy Long wanted Booker T to give Brad Maddox an opportunity.  Booker was mad that Teddy even brought it up.  Booker said he's creepy and trouble.  Long said that he's got a great social media following.  Booker said he didn't trust him and Long said he's got talent and are you afraid of controversy.  Long said that you know a man deserves a second chance and Booker agreed to give him a match tonight.  We'll find the opponent.  He'll find out his opponent when he gets out there.  I think we saw this on Raw already.

DAMIEN SANDOW VS.  SIN CARA
Sandow won with the neckbreaker.  The Shield came out and had Mysterio's mask with the idea they took him out.  Then after the match they attacked Sin Cara.  The other two held him down and Rollins came off the top onto the knee.  That's the angle to explain Sin Cara being out due to his knee injury I think.

TENSAI VS. SANTINO MARELLA
Mostly comedy match where Tensai no sold the cobra to the head, but still lost when he missed a senton and got pinned.

Announced Sin Cara having a serious knee injury.  As we mentioned this is a cover story but the injury is legit.

Kingston, Bryan and Kane were together.  Bryan was mad he didn't win a Slammy last night even though he won a bunch on Sunday that apparently were all forgotten.  Kingston said Ric Flair had the best catch phrase and Bryan was mad about that and started with "No, No, No."

KINGSTON & KANE & DANIEL BRYAN VS. PRIME TIME PLAYERS & WADE BARRETT
They announced Rey Mysterio had a serious neck injury from the phantom attack by The Shield so he's likely out of action.

In the match, Kane pinned Darren Young with a choke slam.

Long C.M. Punk interview.  He ran down John Cena and Ric Flair mostly.  Barely mentioned Rock.  Ripped on the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Ryback came out and said that Punk would be getting better and he wants his promised title match on the first Raw of the New Year which is on 1/7.

ANTONIO CESARO VS. RYBACK
Longer more competitive than usual Ryback  match but he won clean with shell shock, which he should be doing right now.  Non-title of course.

A.J. was all psycho with Kaitlyn backstage.  Kaitlyn called her a psycho when A.J. said Kaitlyn cared more about a title shot than her friend.  Kaitlyn said I care more about a title shot then a psycho.  This led to a pull-apart brawl.

EVE TORRES VS. KAITLYN
Match was okay, crowd didn't seem to care.  Bad finish as Eve gave the ref a double leg takedown for the cheap title saving DQ.

Big Show with Dolph Ziggler.  Show said if you screw me like you tried last night I'll knock you so far into the future tha by the time you wkae up you're world championship contract will have expired.

Brad Maddox said after tonight nobody will ever forget the name Brad Maddox, he'll win his contract tonight.

BRODUS CLAY VS. BRAD MADDOX
Squash win by Clay with a splash.  After the match, The Shield attacked Clay and finished him  with a triple-team power bomb.

SHEAMUS & JOHN CENA VS. DOLPH ZIGGLER & BIG SHOW
Big E Langston and A.J. were in the corner of Ziggler & Show.  Sheamus and Show ended up brawling to the back leaving Cena and Ziggler.  Cena kicked out of the Zig Zag and delivered the Attitude Adjustment when Langston interfered for the DQ.  Langston laid out Cena with his move once again and Ziggler and A.J. were making out after the match.
