UPDATE ON WWE TV DEAL !

Variety is reporting that a new deal between WWE and NBC Universal has not been completed, but the deal is very close and may be announced this afternoon during the NBC Universal cable upfronts presentation in New York City.

The report noted that negotiations hadn't been completed as soon as WWE initially expected due to the two sides needing to hash out digital rights, including how long of a window was fair between TV episodes airing on NBC Universal networks before they appeared on the WWE Network.
