Some Dana White UFC 155 press conference notes from yesterday. He said
Strikeforce 155-pound champion Gilbert Melendez will probably get an
immediate title shot upon entering UFC. He said the company is working
on casting and creating a TUF: Mexico season. He said the situation
with Eddie Alvarez and Bellator was likely to get ugly, but wouldn't go
into any further details. While he didn't outright say so, he said
there was a good chance the winner of the Eddie Wineland vs. Brad
Pickett fight Saturday night would be in line for a title shot. He also
said he was thankful for awful weather in the Midwest and East Coast,
because snowed-in people who couldn't travel were good for his PPV
business.
