One of the issues with Orton’s shoulder dislocations, which have come
once when he was just punching the mat to tease setting up his RKO,
and most recently from throwing a punch, is that he’s got hypermobile
shoulders. It’s a condition that allows his shoulders to stretch back
much farther than the average person, but the flip side is that he’s
more prone to injuries, in particular shoulder dislocations and in the
long run his shoulder joints can wear out much faster than a normal
person and when he’s older he’s a much stronger candidate for
osteoarthritis.
