VINCE RUSSO-TNA UPDATE

Vince Russo is now officially done with TNA. He was informed today by John Gaburick that his consulting services were no longer needed after he sent an email to Mike Johnson exposing that he was still working with the company after previously saying he is was out of the wrestling business. According to sources, his involvement with TNA was less than warmly received by SpikeTV and may have had an affect on negotiations for a new TV deal.
Russo just tweeted the following: "Officially DONE w/TNA. Today they "suggested" a break, I declined. Finality was better for me.Details coming"
Suggested. That is a good way of putting it.

WWE RAW REPORT: NEW MATCHES AT SUMMERSLAM; A RETURN TO RAW; HISTORY IS MADE; AND MORE

Last week, Nikki Bella had to face four Divas, but she had Brie ‘The Quitter’ Bella in the front row to watch her match. Brie was not done with a hug of her sister. She took the mic from Stephanie and then she uttered a nasty word to describe Stephanie. Stephanie responded with a slap, but that would not be the end of Stephanie’s night. Stephanie’s actions and admission led to her arrest for battery.
Before Triple H went to check on his jailbird wife, he had to make the announcement of John Cena’s opponent for SummerSlam. First, it was Randy Orton, but since he could not make it to the ring, it will be Brock Lesnar who faces John Cena.
We are in Houston, Texas and your announcers are John ‘Enron’ Layfield, Jerry ‘Bad News Bears in Breaking Training’ Lawler, and Michael ‘Home to two Wrestlemanias’ Cole.
John Cena makes his way to the ring to talk about his opponent at SummerSlam.
John mentions the lively bunch in Houston, even though he is not very lively. John says that normally he would share in your enthusiasm. Last week, it was revealed to himself and the world that Plan C, what he hoped would never happen is happening. Brock Lesnar. He is a marked man by the Authority. They want the WWE Title off his neck so bad, they have hired a mercenary.
John says that his opponent at SummerSlam is ‘The’ Brock Lesnar. Paul talked to the WWE Universe. The WWE Universe may want to see Brock Lesnar beat the hell out of him. John says that he is certainly not deaf and he knows who his opponent is.
Brock Lesnar is the most devastating force in the WWE. His force is seismic. He destroys who he wants, when he wants. Forty men have been able to say that they were champion. One beast has defeated the streak. He faces that Beast at SummerSlam. Paul told the truth. John says that he will take the beating of his life. John says that he will not lay down. He will fight. He is going to SummerSlam to beat Brock Lesnar, just like he did in 2012.
For those who cheer and for those who boo, the Authority and the people do not realize what will happen if Brock Lesnar becomes champion. Brock is a mercenary and a hired gun. He fights when he wants. Who can stop Brock?
Paul Heyman comes out and he introduces himself. Paul says at SummerSlam, his client Brock Lesnar will conquer John Cena and take away from him the WWE Championship. Paul says that it is courageous of John to realize the beating that he will take, but he does not understand that those are mighty big words by a man who will be turned into a victim.
Paul asks if he knows what it is like to be victimized? He has suffered defeat but rose to the occasion. Paul says that John has exacted revenge. John has never been victimized. He tells John to ask the Undertaker. You can’t ask the Undertaker because no one has seen or heard from the Undertaker since Wrestlemania.
John wants to defend his title and survive at SummerSlam. Paul says that Brock is looking to conquer John. His client is marching forward and is on the offensive. Brock will not only F-5 John Cena and pin him, Brock will victimize John Cena. Paul says that John loves representing everyone, even the ones who say that he sucks.
The only thing that Brock Lesnar is passionate about is the glee he gets when he beats his victim. John will realize when he wakes up from his beating that he is no longer the champion. John will be beaten, victimized, and conquered.
John says that he is sick of Paul’s crap and he wants to talk real to Paul.
John says that Paul can understand passion. The people chant E-C-W and Paul gets a smile on his face. They both share this passion. John says that this is his friggin’ life. He shows up on time and he works his ass off and he shows it. He has passion for the title. That 300 pound gorilla that he tows around whenever he wants to show up has no passion. He is big, he is strong, and he is a super athlete. The thing that separates him is heart.
Brock will have to beat every breath out of his body because he will walk out of SummerSlam with the title.
Cesaro’s music plays and he hugs Paul Heyman.
Cesaro says that even though he has gone his separate ways from Paul Heyman, he will not let John Cena say that about him. He calls John a muscled up walking billboard, not a wrestler. He tells John that you cannot wrestle in sneakers. Cesaro tells John that he cannot wrestle. Cesaro challenges Cena to a match.
Paul says that everyone gets a bonus in an impromptu match.
John says that he looks forward to wrestling circles around Cesaro tonight.
We go to commercial.

Hunter tells her it will work.
Randy says that they need to talk. He wants to know that the original plan was him versus John Cena at SummerSlam. So Roman Reigns interrupts and Brock Lesnar gets the match. Randy wants to be given his match with Cena at SummerSlam.
Hunter says that he can change the match, but he is not going to do that. As long as Roman Reigns is in the picture, he won’t get a title match. Roman will screw up all of those title matches. To get a title match, he needs to finish off Roman Reigns.
Orton says that he will finish off Reigns tonight, but Hunter tells Orton that Kane is facing Reigns.
Orton says that he has a problem with Kane, Reigns, . . . and Hunter.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Paige skips to the ring and she has something to say.
We see what she did last week.
Paige says that she wants to set the record straight. She is young and she lets her emotions get the best of her. She still thinks that AJ is her best friend in the whole world. What she did was deplorable. She was not thinking of AJ as her friend, she thought of AJ as the person who took her title. Paige vows that she will never act like that again.
AJ’s music plays and she skips to the ring.
AJ tells Paige that she is a casper looking crumpet. She asks if anyone is buying this.
Paige interrupts and AJ tells Paige that she is not done. She gets why Paige is mad. She knows what it is like to have a title you worked for your entire life and have it taken away. If you want to be like AJ and skip around, be like her. She doesn’t play little girl games. She doesn’t smile in front of someone and whisper behind her back. If she doesn’t like you, she is going to say it to her face . . . like a real woman.
Paige says that she is AJ’s friend and if she doesn’t believe that AJ must be crazy.
AJ heard those five letters and wanted to know what Paige said.
Paige says that she would never make fun of AJ’s mental health. Paige tells AJ to calm down.
AJ says that she gets it and it was a mistake. AJ says that it happens to all of us. Even those who are a little off their rockers.
AJ attacks Paige and she throws Paige to the floor. AJ runs Paige into the ringside barrier and then she tries to send Paige into the steps but Paige avoids them.

Triple H makes his way to the ring along with a Principal Owner and recent occupant of the Miami-Dade County Jail, Stephanie McMahon.
Hunter says that we have spent a lot of time together. We have laughed together, cried together. He has been proud of you, but he has also been disappointed by you. Hunter says that he was disappointed and angry by what you did last week. You laughed at his wife when she was arrested last week.
You found it funny that the mother of his children was handcuffed like a common criminal and be taken out of the arena. You laugh when she is taken out of this arena in a police cruiser?
Hunter says that he will never forgive you for that. Do you know what that did to his wife? Do you know how badly that hurt her? But you think it is funny.
All of that over a simple misunderstanding. Brie has antagonized his wife. Stephanie was defending herself. It was perfectly acceptable and understandable that his wife struck Brie Bella because she was asking for it. It was a simple misunderstanding. That is what they are here for. The reality of the situation is that the charges have been dropped, except for the assault and battery charge.
Brie refuses to let that go. We are here to try to reconcile that misunderstanding. Stephanie has asked Brie to come here tonight so they can put this whole ugly incident behind them.
Stephanie takes the mic and the crowd calls her a jailbird. She wants Brie to come out so they can get this over with.
Chris Jericho’s music plays and he comes to the stage.
Hunter tells Chris they are in the middle of something.
Chris apologizes for interrupting and he tells Stephanie how bad he feels about what happened to her last week. Chris wants to give his sympathies with a song. Chris sings Bad Boys and the crowd joins in.
Hunter laughs sarcastically and he asks Chris if he thinks this is funny.
Chris tells Stephanie that this is 2014 and Orange is the New Black. It is alright to be a jailbird these days. This is the reason why the WWE Network was made. It is so we can see Stephanie taken out in handcuffs over and over and over and over.
Chris says that he has to give Hunter credit for standing by his little flower like a protector to make sure his wife is okay. Chris wonders why didn’t Hunter leave the arena with Stephanie when she was arrested. Why didn’t Hunter wait until 15 minutes after the show ended to check on his wife.
The reason is that Trips realized that Stephanie is nothing more than a filthy dirty, brutal bottom feeding trashbag ho.
Hunter tells Chris he should focus less on them and more on Bray Wyatt.
Chris says that is why he is out here. He is focused on Bray Wyatt. He wants Bray Wyatt in the ring tonight.
Hunter tells Chris he has to wait until SummerSlam to face Bray, but tonight . . .
Seth Rollins hits Jericho from behind with the briefcase and Hunter tells Chris that he will face Seth Rollins tonight.

It has been on battlefields and even on the surface of the moon. Where is your Old Glory now? It is a faded banner for a ruined nation ruled by cowards who get fat on your apathy.
Russia continues to prove its might and is commanded by its fearless leader Vladimir Putin.
What does Obama do? He wags his finger and warns about peacekeeping options. Your President is a laughable leader. Now, let’s take a look at the fool you chose before Obama to rule this rotting empire.
They show a photo of George W. Bush on the TitanTron.
Jack Swagger’s music plays and Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger come to the stage.
Zeb calls her a blonde haired Bolshevik twit. He tells Lana and the trained bear to listen. He says that this is a real flag with 50 stars and 13 bars. There is no mistaking that this represents the United States. It represents a family sitting around the Thanksgiving table. It represents the thousands of people sitting around a television set watching football. It represents pick up trucks, pretty girls, and beer.
Zeb says that this represents the thousands of brave men and women who fought and died to protect their liberty and preserve their freedom. Every time you insult the Americans, it makes it easier for Real Americans to rise and say ‘We the People’.
Swagger runs to the ring and he attacks Rusev. Rusev runs Swagger into the ringside barrier a few times and then he throws him to the other side of the barrier. Rusev sends Swagger into the ring.

GFW’S JEFF JARRETT TO APPEAR AT ONE OF NJPW’S BIGGEST EVENTS

NASHVILLE — Global Force Wrestling founder and CEO Jeff Jarrett has been invited personally by New Japan Pro Wrestling chairman Naoki Sugabayashi to attend the G1 Climax grand finals at the Seibu Dome in Saitama, Japan, on Sunday, Aug. 10.
G1 Climax is the biggest tournament in professional wrestling. NJPW has selected 22 wrestlers — the most in event history — to compete in a series of matches over two-plus weeks leading up to the grand finals. Among the American competitors are IGWP heavyweight champion A.J. Styles and IGWP tag team champions “The Bullet Club,” aka Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson.
The event is the first of its kind at the dome, which is the home of the Seibu Lions baseball team. G1 is expected to draw more than 30,000 fans.
“I was thrilled when Mr. Sugabayashi requested the honor of my presence, and I assured him there was no way I’d miss an event of this magnitude,” Jeff Jarrett said. “Mr. Sugabayashi is a good friend and the fact his promotion, New Japan, has aligned with Global Force Wrestling only makes this a natural for me.”
GFW announced a partnership with NPJW on June 23.
“New Japan Pro Wrestling is eager for the founders of Global Force Wrestling to visit for our big event,” Sugabayashi said. “It’s only the beginning of what will be an exciting and mutually beneficial partnership.”

Jim Ross Blogs About SPIKE TV Canceling TNA Impact Wrestling !!

jim-ross

WWE Hall of Famer has posted a new blog at JRsBarBQ.com discussing the blockbuster news that has been dropped by Spike TV.
“Obviously, this is a blow to TNA but they have a weekly audience of approximately 1M viewers which will interest some cable networks. The question is can TNA negotiate a deal that will financially keep them in business in today’s entertainment world with this quick turnaround?”
JR says the disappointing TV deal that WWE got with NBC Universal will not help TNA’s negotiating position, despite their  live audience. Could Viacom (Spike TV) use this opportunity to purchase TNA, which is now in jeopardy?
“WWE got less of a rights fee from NBC/Universal to stay on the USA Network than many predicted so one could assume another cable entity might not be willing to pay top dollar for TNA with the current perception that broadcasters apparently have regarding the genre.”
“One would assume/hope TNA finds a new cable home and they move their fan base with them. If not, Viacom’s Spike Network is in the same position TBS was in when Jim Crockett Promotions found themselves in financial duress. TBS bought out JCP and WCW aired on TBS & TNT for years. The question is does Viacom want to own a pro wrestling franchise to go with their newly acquired MMA franchise Bellator?”
This week was already shaping up to be very newsworthy, with WWE announcing the current number of WWE Network subscribers on July 31st. TNA losing their TV deal with Spike TV is a potentially fatal blow to the company.
“It will be interesting to see how all the involved parties spin this matter come Monday morning. If WWE’s scheduled financial, conference call doesn’t go well later this week especially as it relates to the number if subscribers currently paying for the WWE Network this will be one of the most news worthy and potentially negative weeks the business has experienced in years. Hopefully the week will end better than it’s started.”
Now that Impact Wrestling is without a home, will another wrestling promotion step up and attempt to compete with WWE?
“As in any major development such as this, opportunistic entrepreneurs will circle their wagons to both fill the programming void at Spike and to potentially create national, cable TV competition for WWE.”
“I’m hoping the wrestling fans win at the end of the day and that there will be competition within the timeless genre that has apparently come to another crossroads that will necessitate change which might actually be a good thing.”

PWINSIDER EXCLUSIVE: FERGAL DEVITT REFLECTS ON PAST, LOOKS TO THE FUTURE AS HE STEPS ONTO THE WWE STAGE !!

WWE SIGNS FERGAL DEVITT!

Just three days after his 33rd birthday, Fergal Devitt gets one of the best birthday gifts ever. He gets to be the center of attention to the wrestling world today. World Wrestling Entertainment ended months of speculation and differing "will he or won't he?" reports by officially announcing that Devitt, the former leader of the Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling, has officially signed with the company and reported to the WWE Performance Center this morning to kick off his tenure with the NXT developmental brand. Surprisingly for someone who is so brash while inside the squared circle, Devitt sounded humbled, almost demure about signing with WWE during a phone conversation with PWInsider.com. Over the last few months, he played with reports of his status. Just last week, when PWInsider.com reported that the announcement of his signing was imminent, Devitt quicky went on Twitter to announce he was signing...some limited edition lithographs. On his social media antics, Devitt said, "Yeah, you know, it's..obviously I liked to have a little fun with it. Obviously the Internet likes to create it's own speculation and stories and rumors and what have you, but really, it wasn't much of a story at all. I was just blown away by the amount of the hype and the reaction that the story seemed to be getting and that was humbling. I'm happy that it's all finally set and I'm here at the Performance Center." With today being his first day, Devitt was upfront about his goals walking in as the newest guy on the NXT roster. "I want to get to know all the coaches and get familiar with all the wrestlers there. I want to get myself into the training schedule and set myself in for what I am sure is going to be a long, hard road to the top. It's an exciting chance. I've had first days in England and I've had first days in Mexico and I've had first days in Japan, so this is going to be another successful first day. I don't look that far ahead. I take baby steps. Starting out in pro wrestling, I just wanted to have that first match and then the second and the third. Right now, I'm just looking forward to having that first match on NXT and we'll take it from there." Still, Devitt is quick to admit, there's a lot of excitement on his part now that he's officially landed in The Sunshine State. "What's crazy is that inside, I still feel the exact same as I did as a kid at 18 walking into the Hammerlock Training school [in Great Britain].

Not much changed in regards to my view on wrestling or my passion for it. I think...my mind would have been blown if you had said that on 14 years' time, you'd be signing with the biggest wrestling company in the world." Much like the recently signed KENTA, Devitt was a genuine star in Japan, debuting in March 2006 where he was quickly rechristened "Prince Devitt." Devitt quickly rose as a regular on their tours, Devitt became one of the MVP performers of the company's Junior Heavyweight division, twice capturing the prestigious Best of Super Juniors round robin tournament (2010 and 2013) as well three runs with the IWGP Junior Heavyweight championship and six title runs with the division's Tag Team championships. With so many classic matches under his belt during his time in NJPW, Devitt is hard pressed to suggest bouts for fans just discovering him via the fanfare of today's WWE signing announcement. "I've had a lot of different styles of matches through the years, but maybe if you went back to last summer. I had an IWGP Junior Heavyweight match against Gedo. That would be one that I really enjoyed. I'd obviously go back to one with a gentleman named PAC, who is now Adrian Neville in NXT. Those are two similar but different matches that I'm really proud of." When pressed about reports that the match against Pac is what got Neville, the current NXT champion, signed with WWE and began the company's interest in Devitt as well, Fergal remains coy, commenting, "You'd have to ask the powers-that-be to confirm that" before laughing. What isn't a laughing matter is the truth. Devitt had it made in New Japan. He was on every tour and was a central figure of the Bullet Club, the coolest clique of bad ass wrestlers to hit the scene since the New World Order attempted to take down World Championship Wrestling a generation ago. So, why leave now for unchartered waters and start anew? Why dive into the deep end of the pool and start from scratch on a grander stage where all the past accomplishments only gets you in the door - and beyond that door, there's no telling what the future may hold? "You actually answered the question with how you asked it," Devitt said. "That was the reason why I decided to make the jump. I was feeling a little bit comfortable and complacent in Japan. I was craving that new challenge and there's no better place to challenge yourself than in the biggest company in the world. So, that was the answer right there." But with that challenge comes a wide open future, so, does he feel pressure starting anew? "Absolutely. Everything I've accomplished in the past has been completely wiped clean. I've got a clean slate and I've got a lot to prove and I'm excited to show everyone what I can do."

A lifelong fan, Devitt can trace his love of the genre to his earliest memories, noting that he can recall "sitting with my Granddad" watching World of Sport, a British anthology series that regularly featured professional wrestlers during it's two decade run. While the series went off the air from ITV when he was only four, Devitt vividly remembers watching the likes of Robbie Brookside and Steve (William) Regal. As he grew older and followed WWE during its explosion in popularity in Europe in the 1990s, led by the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, Fergal noted his enjoyment of then-WWE Intercontinental champion Shawn Michaels "who I really looked up to" during that era as Devitt, "started to realize what was really going on in wrestling." Chances are that even if you haven't yet seen Devitt compete, you've heard of him as one of those names who at one point or another, was all over the world internationally. He's one of the cool names that get tossed around on social media pages by fans to show they are aware of who the next cool, cutting edge act is, one of the reasons that his WWE signing received such great fanfare amongst the online fans. Now a 14 year veteran, Devitt began training at the age of 20 for the late Andre Baker's UK Hammerlock.

Following a path similar to the likes of Daniel Bryan and Eddie Guerrero, Devitt began trailblazing around the world. Beyond competing all over Europe with occasional jaunts to the United States, Devitt was a regular with CMLL in Mexico before settling into New Japan. Devitt has had the chance to absorb all the different styles, which he admits should help him as he embarks on his WWE tenure. "I've tried to pick up little bits [of knowledge] from everyone as opposed to just honing in one just one person. I had a lot of experience as I was growing up and I tried to take little bits from everyone. [The international experience] is absolutely crucial. Your mind gets opened...to different styles. There's no one way. No one way is right. No one way is wrong. Everyone just has different ways of doing things. If you can travel the world and learn as many different ways of doing everything, then you find out what suits you best or what you're most comfortable doing and then it'll make you a more confortable performer in the ring. I've been really look, being exposed to Japanese wrestling, the so-called "Strong Style" and my basic training was in British "Catch as Catch Can" wrestling. Then, I've spent some time in Mexico and in the States, so I've kind of tried to get a little bit of everything and not get pigeon-holed into one way." Whenever there are new talents who come in to WWE with a following from elsewhere, the discussion of dream matches begin.

Whether it was the Radicalz jumping from WCW or Daniel Bryan debuted on the first season of NXT, new talent coming in always breed discussion and hope for the next great classic rivalry. With similar talents who have followed similar paths to the company including Sami Zayn, KENTA, Cesaro and former foe Adrian Neville, there is a lot to be excited for with Devitt being added to the WWE mix. While acknowledging the obvious, immediate matches that fans will hope to see, Devitt also candidly noted that he's set his eyes on those names, as well as larger, more unique individuals that would certainly allow him to bring a different dimension to both their work in the ring as well as his own "I've had a lot of dealings with Adrian Neville in the past. I'd love to get in there with Cesaro, but for me personally, I'm a big fan of the storylines. For me, I'd really like to get in there with Big Show and with Kane and with some of the bigger guys and mix it up with those guys."

As Fergal steps onto the WWE landscape for the first time, it's not surprising to take a look back and reflect on what he's accomplished. He's the warrior taking a deep breath after one massive victory before forging himself ever forward in pursuit of the great battle. He's about to gain an entirely new following internationally amongst the WWE audience, but what does Devitt say to those who have been with him all along? "I'd like to thank them personally for their support over the last 14 years. It's been a little humbling. They've always Tweeted me and messaged me and came to shows. That means a lot and hopefully they will stick with me with the new company, WWE and hopefully we can have some more good times." The good times are yet to come. Today, Fergal Devitt begins the hard part, setting his roots within WWE and getting to work at the Performance Center.

With all the hype and talk that will come out today's announcement, what isn't hype is that for Fergal Devitt, Monday July 28th is the beginning of a new era in his life. "I'm excited. Excited to get started. Excited to see where the journey goes and I'm looking forward to getting in the ring for WWE." Fergal Devitt can be followed via Twitter at www.Twitter.com/FergalDevitt. TNA-SPIKE TV STORY UPDATE FROM PWI AND WON/F4W !!

PWI:

TMZ.com is reporting that sources have informed them that Spike quietly canceled TNA Impact Wrestling "last week" and that TNA is looking for a new potential home for their series. PWInsider.com has not independently confirmed that story but has reached out to sources within Spike and TNA requesting confirmation on the report. That said, the rumors regarding that status have been quietly making the rounds for several weeks.
I do know that several weeks ago, TNA was still negotiating with Spike. There is also a version of the story floating around that Dixie Carter informed TNA staff of the cancellation at a meeting earlier this week. While there was indeed a staff meeting on Wednesday 7/23, I am told nothing of the sort was stated and that the majority of it was discussion of strategies for the next three weeks of TV promotion.
TNA debuted on Spike on 10/1/05 as a one hour late-night series before expanding into a two hour series that eventually moved to a prime-time timeslot.
TNA's current deal takes them through October. Those episodes will be taped the first week of August at the Manhattan Center in NYC.
This past Thursday's episode was the highest audience for the series since April of this year.

 F4WON:
A number of media sources have reported that Spike TV will not be renewing Impact Wrestling when the contract expires in just over two months.
There were reports that Carter positioned to her staff at a meeting on Friday that they were leaving Spike on their own volition due to a lack of promotion, but others have confirmed Spike had told Carter they were not going to offer a new deal.
The decision came days after Spike found out that Vince Russo was still working for TNA.
At this point direct sources at Spike did not respond to questions from just after the meeting and most within TNA, including talent, were not aware there was any issue until today when rumors started flying.
This puts the company in grave position.  They have UTA representing them in an attempt to get a new television deal, but unless they could get a deal that pays similar to what they were earning on Spike, financially, the company that had been struggling financially with the Spike payments, would not be in good shape.
TNA was founded in 2002 by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett.  The company was about to fold when the company's publicist, Dixie Carter, found out they were on the verge of closing and convinced her parents to purchase the company.  The company lost tens of millions of dollars, but kept up a glimmer of hope.  They were close to folding in 2005 when Spike and WWE had their split, and Spike brought them in for a late Saturday night one hour time slot.
Eventually the show was moved to Thursday, and expanded to two hours.  Aside from a brief period when they moved to Monday and drew poor ratings, they did solid above station average numbers on Thursday.
An official word from TNA after the news broke is that "We have not signed an extension and are still in negotiations."

JR claims rumors that ROH may go up for sale again!!

Speaking of ROH, the ever present rumor mill says that they might be for sale. I can't verify such but it wouldn't surprise me. The 'new' wore off Sinclair Broadcasting buying their own pro wrestling company a long time ago. Too bad because there's money to be made with ROH if it was positioned better.

TNA IMPACT WRESTLING CANCELLED BY SPIKE TV!?

TNA Wrestling's flagship show "Impact Wrestling" could soon be without a home -- Spike TV quietly let the league know it's not renewing their TV contract … TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the deal ... tell us Spike execs contacted TNA President Dixie Carter this week to break the news -- and the following day Carter informed members of her inner circle.

TNA's current deal with Spike reportedly runs through October. It's unclear at this point when "Impact Wrestling" will stop airing on Spike.

We're told there's no bad blood, and Spike gave TNA such advance notice so it would have time to shop for a new TV deal.

TNA's show debuted on Spike TV in October 2005 -- and helped the league rise to #2 on the wrestling scene … behind the WWE.

We've called TNA and Spike for comment ... so far, no word back.

"Yes it hurts. Prognosis good. Cancer free"

Backstage Talk on Triple H's Opinion of Some Internet Fans !!

Regarding Triple H's sarcastic promo on Monday's RAW about venting on social media and threatening to stop watching with his friend "Mark," apparently that was him making fun of fans who weren't happy with the Battleground pay-per-view.
It's said within WWE it's pretty well known that even though Triple H has to embrace social media for business reasons, he hates fans on social media who comment about the product and hates fans who act like they understand wrestling when they don't have a clue.
