Backstage News on TNA Moving to a New Network, Major Changes They Would Have to Make !!

F4Wonline.com has confirmed Monday's report about TNA being offered a spot on Discovery's VELOCITY network, which is available in only HD and less than 50 million homes.

TNA moving to VELOCITY was described as a worst case scenario.

If they take the deal, TNA would have to cut so far back on production and talent that the TNA as we know it would be no more.

WWE Smackdown spoilers from Ontario, CA: Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

* SmackDown kicks off with Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt. Reigns wins by disqualification when Erick Rowan and Luke Harper attack him. The Wyatt Family beats Reigns down until Big Show and Mark Henry make the save. There were some people in the crowd upset because Bray didn't mention Ontario in the intro to his entrance.

* Seth Rollins defeated Rob Van Dam.

* Paige defeated Emma. After the match, AJ Lee came out with a box of chocolates. This leads to Paige spitting a piece of candy back at Emma but AJ picks it up and eats it.

* Tonight's main event is changed to a six-man match

* Rusev defeated Jack Swagger after Bo Dallas caused interference. Bo attacked Swagger after the match.

* Jey Uso defeated Stardust. After the match, Stardust and Goldust beat down The Usos.

* Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow as The Miz again. The real Miz runs from Sheamus after the match but Dolph Ziggler comes out and throws him back in the ring. Miz dodges a Brogue Kick and runs through the crowd.

* Roman Reigns, Big Show and Mark Henry defeated The Wyatt Family in the main event. The babyfaces pose to end SmackDown.

WWE Main Event from Ontario, CA featured a lot of hype to further future storylines. Brock Lesner vs. John Cena for the WWE title at Night of Champions received the majority of the hype. Besides building up that match with recaps and video packages, the show included three first-run matches.

Rob Van Dam beat Seth Rollins via countout. Early on, they exchanged shoulder tackles and each ducked the other’s spinning kicks before a standoff. Rollins kicked RVD in the gut and he put the boots to him. Van Dam cut off Rollins and played to the crowd, allowing Rollins to hit him from behind to regain the advantage. Van Dam and got two nearfalls with a schoolboy and a leg scissors rollup before nailing Rollins with a roundhouse kick. Rollins took a clothesline over the top rope to the floor then RVD did a plancha to the outside. The crowd started an “ECW” chant. Out at ringside, Rollins clotheslined RVD on the floor before a commercial.

After the break, Rollins had RVD in a wrist lock then turned that into a hammerlock before he rammed RVD into the ringpost. Rollins got heat on RVD and worked the arm. Van Dam countered Rollins and sent him face-first into the second turnbuckle. RVD started a comeback and began to work the arm. He gave Rollins a receipt by ramming him into the post moments later. Following a springboard into a kick off the second rope, RVD did his rolling thunder. Van Dam leaped to the top turnbuckle but Rollins shoved him off the top and RVD crashed into the barricade. The referee began to count.

Van Dam barely broke the count and Rollins began to pummel him more before throwing him back out to the floor. At ringside, Rollins twice rammed RVD into the barricade. Van Dam reversed a whip and sent Rollins into the barricade. RVD made it back in the ring and Rollins got counted out. Afterwards, Rollins attempted a sneak attack with the briefcase but Van Dam cut him off and stood victorious.

Adam Rose (with the Rosebuds) beat Curtis Axel. A pre-taped skit set up the match as Rose invited Axel to join his party. Axel in no uncertain terms declined. Rose called him a lemon and Rose added he would make lemonade. In the match, Axel took most of the offense and Rose arguably showed more fire during his offensive flurries than he had in his previously televised matches. When Axel got heat on Rose, the Rosebuds put on their figurative rally caps and led cheers that included chanting Rose’s theme song. Rose made a comeback and dove off the second rope with a flying hurricanrana. Axel took a clothesline in a corner and Rose went for his finisher. Axel avoided the party foul but he missed a splash in a corner. Rose delivered the party foul for the pin.

Goldust & Stardust beat Los Matadores (with El Torito). Goldust got the early advantage but a matador delivered an ax handle off the top. Moments later, Stardust did a cartwheel into a dropkick. Fernando did a Frankensteiner before tagging Diego, who did a senton from the apron into the ring followed by a monkey flip. Matadores cut the ring in half. Goldust ran wild after a hot tag. Goldust gave one matador a running powerslam before a commercial.

After the break, the Rhodes brothers cut the ring in half much like the matadors did earlier. The crowd started an “Ole” chant. Stardust and a matador collided mid-ring. They both tagged out and the fresh matador ran wild despite a brief hiccup. The matador did a flying headscissors only to miss a senton bomb off the top. Stardust tagged in and used a reverse Russian leg sweep to get the pin. Afterwards, Stardust grabbed Torito by the horns like a dastardly heel and he threw him through the ropes to the floor before he posed with Goldust to close the show.

WWE News: Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett advertised return dates !

WWE is currently advertising both Daniel Bryan and Bad News Barrett for its European house show tour which starts on 11/5. Barrett is listed for the 11/5 show in London as his first match back on the Cena tour.  Bryan is listed, along with Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt, as the key stars for the other tour that starts 11/6 in Cardiff, Wales.

Exclusive: TNA Receives Offer From TV Network, Details On The Rights Fees, Internal Reaction !!

TNA has received an offer from Discovery Network's VELOCITY channel. It's in 48 million homes and is in HD only.
The biggest issue is the rights fee, which is less than a quarter of what they are currently making at Spike. They'd have to find an additional revenue stream or the deal may not be viable. They are relieved that another suitor has materialized but are disappointed in the offer. They hope this opens the door to other prospective partners contacting them asap.

Rumor on Possible Global Force Wrestling Tapings in September and who will Appear on it !!

As things stand right now, they will be doing TV tapings for the El Rey Network on 9/6 and 9/7 from a sound stage studio warehouse in Boyle Heights, a part of Los Angeles. The scheduled debut on the El Rey Network is on 10/8, in a Wednesday night time slot. From the little bits that have come out, the idea from the money and production people at El Rey is to do something completely different from any pro wrestling, or Lucha Libre. There are two writers working on the season, one of whom has never worked in wrestling, and the other is Christopher DeJoseph, who spent years in WWE as a writer, and also played the character Big Dick Johnson. It will not be like AAA wrestling in Mexico, but will use some of the AAA stars along with a lot of PWG stars. Names that we’ve heard confirmed for the show include Ricky Reyes, Joey Ryan, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Hernandez, Fenix and John Hennigan (John Morrison). There will be women wrestlers involved as well. If Alberto Del Rio can get his non-compete overturned, he would likely be pushed as the biggest star, but that one-year non-compete would be a hold-up.

BIG TNA TV DEAL UPDATE!!

Impact Wrestling has issued a press release stating that Impact will remain on SpikeTV through the end of 2014. The release also stated that negotiations are still ongoing between Impact Wrestling and SpikeTV.

Impact Wrestling makes its Wednesday night debut on SpikeTV tonight.

The panel is Ric Flair, Alex Riley, Renee Young and Booker T. Flair mentioned UFC's Ronda Rousey was in attendance.
They discussed the main event. Riley said that Brock Lesnar is pretty much a part time talent now and wondered what that would mean for the WWE championship if he won.
They aired a promotional video on Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon.
The panel discussed the bout. They had a graphic for Booker's "Shucky Ducky" line.
They introduced the commentary team.
Rob Van Dam vs. Cesaro
Cesaro had control early but RVD nailed a monkey flip. He drilled Cesaro with several rights but was caught with a knee to the mid-section. RVD nailed a rana but Cesaro went to the floor. Van Dam missed a tope when Cesaro walked away but Van Dam landed on his feet and drilled Cesaro with a kick, then hit Rolling Thunder on the floor.
Van Dam worked over Cesaro in the corner but got a thumb in the eye and was stomped down. Cesaro nailed a gutwrench suplex. They went to commercial and when they returned, RVD was in a chinlock. He fought his way out but was drilled with a knee to the back then hit with a big double stomp for a two count.
Van Dam came back with a clothesline and used a leg scissor takedown for a two count. RVD hit the split-legged moonsault for a two count, then nailed a thrust kick that sent Cesaro to the floor. RVD nailed a moonsault off the apron to the floor.
RVD went to the top but was nailed by a leaping uppercut. Cesaro went for a superplex but was shoved off. RVD set up for the Five Star Frogsplash but Cesaro leapt up and drilled him with another uppercut. RVD knocked him down and went for it again but again Cesaro drilled him. Cesaro went for a superplex but was shoved off. Van Dam finally went for the move but was drilled with an uppercut as he came down.
Cesaro covered RVD for a two count. He went for the Neutralizer but RVD backdropped him over only to be kicked hard in the face. They went back and forth with some really good, stiff back and forth action before RVD finally nailed a big kick and hit the frog splash for the pin.

Really good match.
They aired a vignette featuring a contest winner training as a WWE star and had him make a cameo with the panel.

WWE SUMMERSLAM 2014
The show opened with Hulk Hogan coming out to welcome everyone to Summerslam. He said he can’t think of a better way to kick the show off without Hollywood Hogan. He said this is where dreams are made and Superstars can etch their name in the WWE history books. He said that if you aren’t here in LA, you are watching the WWE Network. He said that he knows that you paid “$9.99” for the Network. He plugged all the other PPVs that are coming up in the next six months. He gave his trademark “run wild on you.” So, we opened the show with a commercial.
They then had the official opening for the PPV which was very Grindhouse-inspired.
WWE Intercontinental champion The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler
Miz said that in a summer filled with talking turtles, talking robots, now Hollywood has a real star. He said that Drax the Destroyer and Hercules wish they had his moneymaker of a face. He said he was going to take Dolph Ziggler and make him a loser like the Lakers.
They showed Maria Menounos at ringside.
Ziggler ran Miz out of the ring when Ziggler went for a punch to the face. Ziggler caught him with a Thesz Press and Miz ran off again but Ziggler nailed him and rolled him up for a two count. Ziggler began working over his back. Miz reversed an whip into the corner and sent him HARD into the buckles.
Miz gained control with a hard kick and a big clothesline in the corner. Miz came off the top with a double axehandle. Ziggler made a comeback with a splash in the corner and a neckbreaker for a two count.
Ziggler went for the Famouser but Miz moved and tossed him over the top. Ziggler skinned the cat but Miz avoided a superkick. He took Ziggler down and went for the figure four but was kicked off and nailed with a superkick for a two count.
Miz tried to walk out but Ziggler nailed him with a dive. Ziggler tossed him back in the ring but was nailed as he returned and locked in the figure four. Ziggler got to the ropes but Miz kicked him from behind in the leg and nailed the Skull Crushing Finale for a near fall. Good match so far.
Miz argued with the referee but was caught with the Zig Zag.

Tom Phillips interviewed Brie Bella. She said when she was arrested, he had a lot of time to reflect. She said the charges were dropped but when she was in jail, she thought about Stephanie calling Bryan a B+ Player, tormenting her sister Nikki and paying off their physical therapist to lie. She said that she has no choice and she’s going to take out the “she beast” because that’s best for business. Decent promo.
WWE Divas champion AJ Lee vs. Paige
Paige came out skipping to mock Lee. They recapped all the angles with video clips.
Lee went nuts early beating her on the floor and sending Paige into the table. Paige sent her off the apron into the guard rail. Paige began beating her with a series of headbutts. Paige liberally yanked at Lee’s hair and had to toss some she ripped out to the mat. Paige nailed a series of knees while Lee was in the ropes and went to the top. Lee fought off Paige and shoved her off to the floor. Lee nailed a clothesline from the top to the floor.
Lee nailed her with a running knee for a two count. Paige shoved her off and drilled a kick to the face. Paige went for a move but Lee turned it into the Black Widow. Paige was able to counter it into her Rampage DDT and scored the pin.
Your winner and new WWE Divas champion, Paige!
Short but they packed a lot into it. The Widow counter and pin was a nice surprise.
Paige kissed Lee on the cheek and left her in the ring.
They aired the WWE 2K15 videogame promo with Sting. That would mark his first official appearance on WWE TV, by the way.


Rusev vs. Jack Swagger: Flag Match
Lana dedicated the match to Vladimir Putin. She cut a promo on Hollywood being fake like America.
They brought out a color guard with the U.S. Flag before Swagger’s entrance. Rusev attacked Swagger as he was waving the flag and beat him with a series of right hands. Swagger nailed him and locked on the Patriot Lock before the bell. The referee separated them. Lana began yelling at Rusev who now had to fight on a bad wheel.
Swagger charged him in the corner at the bell and went right back after the ankle. Rusev went to the floor. Swagger went to the floor and tossed him back in. Swagger went right back after the ankle again. Swagger clotheslined Rusev on the floor.
Swagger went for the Swagger Bomb off the ropes but Rusev pulled his knees up. The announcers said Swagger was dealing with injured knees so now we had two hurt wrestlers competing. Rusev worked over his back and ribs, dropping a headbutt across it.
Swagger was trapped in a bear hug. He fired back with elbows and went for a belly to belly suplex. Rusev drilled him and continued working over the back. They battled back and forth. Swagger nailed a big kick and nailed the Swagger Bomb but hurt his ribs and only got a two count.
Swagger was caught with an elbow as he charged. Swagger nailed his ankle and hit a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Rusev went after the ribs again and killed Swagger with the leaping thrust kick. Rusev went to lock on the Accolade but his ankle was hurt and he had problems getting it on, so he did a one legged version while standing on his knee. This allowed Swagger some room to reverse it into the ankle lock.
Rusev tried to get to the ropes but was pulled back. He turned over onto his back and nailed a number of shots to the ribs to get Swagger off of him. Rusev nailed a big splash and locked on the Accolade, and Rusev’s expression of pain putting the move on was awesome. Swagger refused to tap but blacked out so the referee called it.

Great, great match with a nice story told. They really took it to each other and this was a hell of a lot of fun.
Lana got in Zeb Colter’s face after and gave him a mocking “We the People.” She then ordered Rusev to kick Colter when he wasn’t looking.
They raised a GIANT Russian Flag as Rusev and Lana stood proudly over the beaten Americans.
This was a great first hour!
Lumberjack Match: Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose
Damien Sandow was dressed as a Lumberjack.
They began brawling. Rollins drilled him coming off the ropes and began kicking and stomping him in the corner. Ambrose worked over Rollins and clotheslined him over the top. He was tossed back into the ring, where Ambrose stomped him low and tied him up on the mat while ripping at his face.
Rollins sent Ambrose to the floor. Ambrose began throwing haymakers at the Lumberjacks and returned to the ring of his own accord. He and Rollins brawled and he was sent back out. The Lumberjacks worked him over and tossed him back in. Rollins nailed a series of right hands and slammed him for a two count.
Rollins locked on a cobra clutch like submission but Ambrose fought back and nailed several clotheslines. He ended up on the apron and suplexed Rollins over the top onto the Lumberjacks on that side of the ring. This sparked a brawl amongst the Lumberjacks as they tried to break up Ambrose and Rollins fighting on the floor.
Ambrose backdropped Rollins into the crowd but was pulled back into the ring by the Lumberjacks. He hit a dive onto the Lumberjacks, then darted across the announce tables en route to diving onto Rollins. Rollins tried to escape but Ambrose caught up to hit and they battled in the crowd and into the first level of the Arena.
Kane came out and ordered all the Lumberjacks to stop them as they battled near the middle of the arena. The heels dragged Ambrose off. Rollins tried to escape but was stopped by Sin Cara, who he laid out. Rollins tried to sneak around and get to the stage but the other babyfaces were waiting and carried him back to the ring as if he as crowd surfing, Ambrose came off the top with a big dive onto Rollins, taking everyone out. This is a hell of a lot of fun.
Ambrose went for Dirty Deeds but Rollins slipped out and nailed a kick. Ambrose nailed Rollins with a Curb Stomp but Kane laid him out. Goldust got in Kane’s face but was laid out. Everyone hit the ring and there was a huge, chaotic brawl.
The Wyatts tried to attack Ambrose but he dispatched them. Rollins drilled him with the Money in the Bank briefcase and pinned him.
Your winner, Seth Rollins!
That was AWESOME.
Rollins seemed to be bleeding from the mouth after.
Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho
Jericho and Wyatt began fighting at the bell. Jericho caught Wyatt with a flying forearm but was knocked to the floor as he went for a move off the ropes. Jericho regained control and sent Wyatt into the barricade, then came off the top for a two count.
Wyatt worked over Jericho on the floor and sent him into the ring steps. He set up Jericho near the ringpost and drilled him into it. Wyatt grabbed Jericho’s arms and snapped him into the ring ropes facefirst. He locked in a side chinlock on Jericho who fought his way back to his feet.
Jericho made a comeback with an enziguri but only scored a one count. Wyatt came back with a back senton splash He kept working over Jericho but was nailed with a bodypress as he charged for a two count. Jericho was cut off and covered for a two count. Wyatt peppered him with right hands.
They battled back and forth until Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho. Bray fought his way to the ropes. They battled out to the apron where Wyatt drilled Jericho with a DDT on the apron. Jericho made a comeback and scored several two counts. Wyatt was sent into the ropes and nailed with a good dropkick.
Jericho went to set up for the Lionsault but Wyatt did the crab walk and that spooked him. Wyatt began talking trash and charged Jericho but was caught with the Codebreaker. Wyatt kicked up and was sent to the floor. Jericho went for a sliding kick but Wyatt drilled him and pulled him to the floor. Jericho was nailed with Sister Abigail into the guard rail. Good match.
Back in the ring, Wyatt nailed a second Sister Abigail and pinned Jericho clean. Your winner, Bray Wyatt!
Good match. Wyatt got the clean win he’s needed.
Wyatt took the mic and said, “Poor, poor Chris Jericho. I guess after all, he found out what it means to follow the buzzards.” Wyatt began singing the “Whole Wide World in His Hands” again, so that’s being brought back to the character, which is a good move. 


Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie McMahon flashed the Four Horsemen sign at Ronda Rousey as she walked past her in the first row, although they didn’t show Rousey. They then showed Rousey and had a graphic for her, but didn’t identify her as a UFC fighter.
Stephanie backed Brie into the corner at the bell but broke free. They locked up again and again Stephanie backed her into the ropes and forced her half out of the ring. Brie used a takedown on McMahon, who wasn’t happy. They locked up again and Steph was hit with another armdrag.
Bella went for a waistlock but was drilled with an elbow to the face. McMahon used a series of shoulderblocks in the corner. Brie went for the Yes Lock but Stephanie scrambled out of the ring to the floor. Brie went for a suicide dive but Stephanie nailed her and snapped her down to the floor, then mocked Daniel Bryan’s “Yes!” chant.
When Bella returned to the ring, Stephanie snapped her with a DDT for a two count. Stephanie grabbed Bella by the hair and said, “You’re my bitch” and snapmared her. McMahon locked on a surfboard and shoved her to the mat, then shoved her boot down in Bella’s face before going back to the surfboard.
Stephanie charged her but Bella caught McMahon with a Thesz Press. She then caught McMahon with an elbow as McMahon charged her and drilled her over and over with kicks in the corner. Bella tossed McMahon across the ring and pulled her in as Stephanie tried to escape. Bella nailed a series of kicks in the mid-section. McMahon staggered out of the corner and was kicked down. Bella came off the middle turnbuckle with a dropkick for a two count.
Stephanie tried to get out of the ring again and was pulled down. Bella mounted her and began ground and pound. Triple H ran out and got on the apron. Nikki Bella followed. Stephanie used the distraction to go for the Pedigree but Bella turned it into the Yes Lock.
HHH pulled the referee out and nailed him. He began yelling at Nikki Bella. Brie hit a sliding kick to the outside on HHH. The crowd loved that and chanted, “Yes.” Stephanie tried to climb out of the ring but Nikki stopped her and backed her up. Stephanie was now trapped between them but Nikki turned on her sister and nailed her with a forearm.
Stephanie locked on the Pedigree and nailed Brie with it. The referee returned to the ring and scored the pin.
Your winner, Stephanie McMahon!
Entertaining match for what it was meant to be. They probably didn’t need the turn but we’ll see what the story that plays out is. Nikki stood outside the ring seething so we don’t know if she was forced into this or not. 


Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton
Orton went after Reigns but was cut off and worked over. Reigns snapped him into the corner but was shoved away. Roman nailed a big right hand then kicked him over the top to the floor. Roman followed him and slammed him into the guard rail. Reigns whipped Orton but it was reversed and Reigns was drilled into the ring steps.
Orton tossed Reigns back into the ring and cinched in a side chinlock. Reigns broke free but was grabbed by his hair and snapped backwards to the mat. Orton stomped on Reigns’ hand and foot, holding his foot there after the move. Reigns fired back but was sent into the corner. He kicked Orton away and went to the top but Orton nailed him and worked him over on the turnbuckles.
Orton went for a superplex and nailed it. Randy was fought off and was caught in a sleeper but countered it with a sideslam. They went back to the chinlock. They battled to the floor. Reigns nailed his dropkick on the apron. They sent each other into the guard rails. Orton regained control, sending Reigns into the ringpost and covered Reigns for a two count.
Back on the floor, Reignss was slammed on the announcer’s table and sent into the ring steps. Reigns snapped Orton’s throat across the rope as Orton reached for him in the ring. He sent Orton to the corner and brought him to the top. Orton drilled him but was caught for a Samoan Drop off the top scoring a two count.
Reigns nailed Orton with the Superman Punch and set up for the spear but was caught with the powerslam for a two count. Orton nailed the hanging DDT off the ropes. Orton set up for the RKO but was shoved off. Reigns leapt for the spear but Orton caught him with the RKO. Reigns kicked up at the last minute. Good sequence. Orton was shocked he didn’t get the win.
Orton went for the punt but Reigns got out of the way and speared him for the pin.
Your winner, Roman Reigns!
Another good match. Reigns did well in the biggest singles test of his PPV career to date.
WWE World Heavyweight champion John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
They began brawling right away. Cena took him down and worked him over, then hit the F5 for a two count. The crowd began screaming the dueling chants as Cena tried to pull himself to his feet.
Lesnar threw him with a monster German suplex. Cena was beaten with strikes and knees. He tried to fight back but to no avail. Brock tossed him with a hard suplex. Cena fought back with a series of punches in the corner but was laid out by Brock. Lesnar continued working over Cena. Cena fought out of a chinlock and was slammed back to the mat.
Brock kept throwing Cena around the right with German suplex after German suplex. Lesnar kept mauling Cena and told the referee to see if Cena had enough. Cena pulled himself up and Lesnar went for another German. Cena nailed a series of elbows and several moved but was caught for an F5. Cena reversed it into the AA but Lesnar kicked up.
Lesnar sat up, mocking the Undertaker and began bouncing in the ring, laughing at Cena as Cena was still down, exhausted in the corner. Cena charge but was caught and mounted by Lesnar, who beat the frigging hell out of Cena. The referee told Brock to back of and asked Cena if he should call it.
Lesnar hit Cena with a series of rolling German suplexes with the last one releasing Cena as if he was thrown out of a car. Cena got up and Lesnar went back for another series of German suplexes. They teased referee Charles Robinson was going to call the match.
Cena used a drop toehold and locked on an STF. Lesnar reversed it and beat Cena with a series of punches, then hit the F5 and scored the pin.
Your winner and new WWE World Heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar!
Really entertaining beatdown of Cena and an incredible atmosphere.
As they left, Paul Heyman told Brock that he "conquered the WWE Universe."
Overall, an excellent show. Well worth going out of your way to see. 

WWE STAR APPEARS ON AAA iPPV & MORE NEWS !

Rey Mysterio, who is still under contract to WWE, appeared via video at the end of the Triplemania iPPV that aired tonight. While wearing a sombrero, Mysterio said he wanted to celebrate AAA's anniversary and told the fans he would see them soon. The video faded out and a graphic that read "#FREEREY" then played. Mysterio is still under contract to WWE until the spring of 2015, according to one source. He and the company have been at odds for some time over his contract.

Alberto Del Rio opened the show cutting an anti-WWE promo and saying he had to deal with racism in the company before going into an angle where he and his father, Dos Caras, were interrupted by a group of heels who they then ran off. The "Alberto Del Rio" name (in a graphic) and theme music were both used.
Jeff Jarrett missed the show despite a travel day from hell. His flight from Nashville to Dallas was diverted due to storms and then flights to Mexico were canceled, preventing him from making it to the event. Jarrett noted on Twitter that it was the first time he had missed a booking due to weather.
King Ricochet also missed the show. As I noted in my House of Glory live report Saturday evening, he worked three matches en route to winning the tournament and then rushed to JFK airport (30 minutes from the venue) to catch a red eye flight to Mexico. Ricochet missed his flight by "five minutes" according to his Twitter, stranding him in NYC until he heads home and causing him to miss out on a pretty nice payday.

TOP TNA STAR TELLS LOCKER ROOM HE IS DONE!!

We've heard from multiple TNA talents that Bully Ray held a meeting with the roster working tonight's live event in Hagerstown, MD and informed them he wanted to personally tell them goodbye as he didn't expect to be back for the company.

In asking around, Ray's contract is expiring and tonight's live event is the last show he is contracted to appear on. Based on what Ray told the locker room, obviously the two sides have not come to terms on a new deal.

What is amazing about this is that Ray (along with his partner Devon) is scheduled to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound for Glory this October. TNA also has one match left in a series of bouts Ray was heavily involved in at the last set of Impact Wrestling tapings, which means that if he departs, they will be left scrambling to end that series without him.

Ray had been the central point of the company over the last several years, first with a heel run as the central figure behind Aces & Eights, which brought him his first TNA championship. After losing the title, Ray was transformed into a babyface pursuing Dixie Carter in order to put her through a table, which became the biggest moment of TNA's entire summer. That angle was something that Ray brought to and pitched to TNA management.

Ray has been with TNA since 2005 following runs in the original ECW and WWE. During the TNA run he morphed from one half of Team 3D to a legitimate top singles star. Beyond wrestling, he was also working as an agent backstage.

Latest Backstage News on Cena vs Lesnar Plans, Will the New WWE Title Make its Debut Tonight?

According to PWInsider.com, the universal belief backstage in WWE is that Brock Lesnar will leave SummerSlam the new WWE World Champion. At the very least, the belief is he will defeat John Cena, and there’s always the possibility Seth Rollins could cash in after the main event is over.

In related news, the new WWE World Title belt, featuring the new WWE logo, might actually make its debut tonight at SummerSlam as opposed to on Raw tomorrow night.

WWE will officially begin using the new company logo, which is the WWE Network logo, beginning tomorrow, but there have been teases that the new Title belt will be seen prior to Cena vs Lesnar tonight.

MORE ON KEVIN STEEN SIGNING WITH WWE

Kevin Steen officially signed with WWE a few weeks ago after passing his medical testing in June, according to a WWE source.

The photo making the rounds that Triple H posted was shot a few months back.

Steen has not yet reported to Orlando, but will by September. As I discussed on my Elite hotline today, there are expected to be some other talents signed and reporting by that time period.

ALBERTO DEL RIO UPDATE!!

AAA President Joaquin Roldan told Televisa Deportes tonight that Alberto Del Rio is 100% confirmed for Triplemania XXII on Sunday. He didn't specify on what his role would be other than the fact that he is a guest of the promotion.

Obviously the talk right now is Alberto Del Rio's release from WWE.

The story making the rounds is that Del Rio allegedly slapped a WWE.com staffer at a recent WWE event. In speaking to a source close to Del Rio after I returned from last night's TNA taping, I was told that his side of the story is that he was responding to something said that he felt was racist in nature.

I am told WWE will not be commenting on the situation beyond what was stated on their website.

We've heard from multiple sources over the last several years that Del Rio hadn't been happy with his run in the company and that there was talk of him looking to retire when his contract had expired. He had recently relocated to Texas, which some in the company believed was so he could be closer to Mexico once his WWE run was over.

One question about the release that we don't know the answer to is whether WWE considers his actions a breach of his contract. If so, they could claim he has forfeited any royalties due to him for merchandise, PPV, licensing, etc.

The release was discussed a lot backstage at last night's TV Taping and if and when he's available they would be very open to speaking to him. Obviously, the idea of Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez reuniting for conventions, independents, etc. could be a possibility as well.

We didn't mention this on the site yet as we hadn't 100% confirmed it until this evening, but as part of the cutbacks in the last week, there was a creative purge. Depending on who you ask, three or five writers were let go from the creative team.

Also gone from the company is Edward Feldmann, who held the position of Senior Vice President of Creative. Prior to working for WWE, Feldmann had worked on a number of series in writing and production roles, including Arli$$, The Dennis Miller Show, The Wanda Sykes Show, Law & Order and Married with Children. He had worked right under Triple H.

**** A number of Spike TV executives, including President Kevin Kay, were at last night's Impact Wrestling taping.

TNA has now taped all the episodes that are scheduled to air under the current SpikeTV contract, which ends the final week of September.

TNA has a hold on the Manhattan Center for September tapings but are formalizing their strategy for those tapings before officially announcing the shows. They may be taping One Night Only PPVs as part of those tapings.

The 8/8 taping was the highest attended Manhattan Center taping of the six tapings this summer as the company sold out and had added lots of additional seating on the floor and an additional row of chairs across the balconies.

Ryder with an Irish whip and forearm in the corner. Ryder with the Broski Boot and he gets a near fall.

WWE NXT REPORT: A TOURNAMENT IS ANNOUNCED; DOES TYLER BREEZE TELL US WHEN HE FACES ADRIAN NEVILLE?; KIDD VS. ROSE; AND MORE

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Tom ‘Takeover is coming’ Phillips, Renee ‘I am the Queen of Thursday’ Young, and Byron ‘I miss doing Superstars’ Saxton.
Match Number One: Tyler Breeze versus Angelo Dawkins
Dawkins with a waist lock take down and he dances. He avoids Breeze but Tyler with kicks in the corner and the referee warns him. Breeze sends Dawkins to the floor and he follows. Breeze with a forearm to the back and he sends Dawkins into the guardrails. Breeze rolls Dawkins back in and he connects with punches and follows with the Beauty Shot for the three count.
Winner: Tyler Breeze
After the match, Breeze throws Dawkins out of the ring and Breeze has something to say. Tyler says that he didn’t plan to have a match. He came out to show everyone what happened last week on NXT when Tyler came to the ring to check on Adrian Neville and Tyler pushing Neville off the turnbuckles.
Tyler says that was hilarious and he says ‘poor Neville’. Tyler says that he has a huge announcement. It is monumental. He tells all of the uggos to get their phones so they can tweet it. You have been clamoring for it and he has submitted his music video for consideration for an Oscar in the documentary category.
Tyler says that he knows you want to see it so . . .
Adrian Neville comes out and he tells Tyler he has a secret. He doesn’t want to see Tyler’s video, but he has a question.
When will you delay the inevitable which is the title match that Tyler has.
Tyler says that he is getting a call from the director of the Hobbit and he says that Neville is wanted on set.
Neville says that he got a Snapchat from Tyler’s mom and Tyler isn’t the only member of Tyler’s family that enjoys sending selfies.
Tyler goes after Neville but Neville avoids Tyler and Tyler goes to the floor.
We go to commercial.
JoJo is in the interview area with Natalya. Natalya is asked about Adam Rose returning. She says that Adam is entertaining and fun to watch. Tyson comes out and he asks her if she is buying into this act. Adam is a circus clown without the face paint. Adam has squandered every chance he has had on Raw.
Natalya calls Tyson a lemon and tells him to have fun.
Tyson tells them to find Adam Rose and he makes a challenge if Adam has the rosebuds to face him.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Tom, Renee, and Byron talk about what we have seen so far. They talk about Tyler Breeze and Adrian Neville. Tom mentions that there will be a Number One Contender Tournament for the Tag Titles. Who will face the Ascension to try to stop their more than 300 day title reign?
Match Number Two: Charlotte versus Becky Lynch in a Non Title Match
They lock up and Charlotte sends Becky to the mat. Becky with a leg sweep and she gets a near fall. Becky bridges and she blocks a hip toss. Becky with a side head lock take down but Charlotte gets to her feet. Charlotte with an Irish whip but Becky moves and Becky with a kick. Charlotte with a forearm and she sends Becky into the corner.
Charlotte drops down and works on the knee. Charlotte with a dragon screw leg whip and she drops down to work on the knee. Charlotte with a step over toe hold and Charlotte with a bridge to add more pressure to the knee. Charlotte continues to work on the knee. Becky with knees to try to get Charlotte to release the hold.
Charlotte with a forearm to the back of the knee. Charlotte puts the leg in the ropes and Charlotte with knees to the injured leg. Charlotte with a forearm to the back of the head and she gets a near fall. Charlotte gets another near fall. Charlotte tries to hyperextend the knee and then she puts the leg on the rope and she drops down onto the leg.
Becky with a rollup for a near fall. Lynch with clotheslines followed by a leg lariat and a leg drop for a near fall. Charlotte with a shot to the knee followed by Bow Down to the Queen for the three count.
Winner: Charlotte
JoJo is with Mojo Rawley in the interview area. She mentions that Mojo is looking for a tag team partner. Mojo says that all he cares is that his partner is hyped. Bull Dempsey shows up and he says that Mojo needs a partner and he needs a partner, so maybe they should form a team. Bull says that if Mojo screws up, he will feel the wrath of the wrecking ball like no one else.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Konor and Viktor versus Steve Cutler and Mac Miles in a Non Title Match
Cutler and Viktor start things off and Cutler with a side head lock. Viktor with a back elbow. Konor tags in and he hits a shoulder tackle or two. Viktor tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle. Viktor sends Cutler into the turnbuckles and he chops and uppercuts Viktor. Viktor with another uppercut and forearm.
Viktor stands over Cutler and looks across the ring. Konor tags in and Viktor sends Cutler into the corner for a shoulder tackle off the turnbuckles. Viktor knocks Miles off the apron and they hit the Fall of Man for the three count.
Winners: Konor and Viktor
After the match, Viktor gets on the mic and he says that they are the longest reigning champions in NXT history. Now, they are having a tournament to find them number one contenders. He believes that we all know what the victor’s fate is destined to be.
Konor says that it will be Total Anni-YAH-lation.

We are back with a CJ Parker video package where he is concerned about the environment and the love of the fans. We see his issues with Xavier Woods.
We are told that next week it will be CJ Parker versus Xavier Woods.
Match Number Four: Mojo Rawley and Bull Dempsey versus Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder
Dawson and Dempsey start things off and they lock up. Dawson with a wrist lock but Dempsey pushes Dawson to the mat. They lock up again and Dempsey backs Dawson into the corner and Mojo tags himself in. They lock up and Mojo with a wrist lock and he works on the shoulder. Dawson with a forearm and he tags in Wilder.
Wilder with a wrist lock and he tags in Dawson and Dawson with a kick and punch. Wilder tags back in and he goes to the turnbuckles with a knee to the arm and he gets a near fall. Wilder slams the arm into the mat and he applies a key lock. Rawley with an arm drag and he runs Wilder into the corner. Rawley with two splashes and Dempsey is tagged in. He takes care of Dawson on the apron and Dempsey with the Bulldozer for the three count.
Winners: Mojo Rawley and Bull Dempsey
We go to Rich Brennan with Bayley and he asks about the BFFs and Charlotte’s victory. Bayley says that she was happy to see the BFFs break up because they were mean to her. Bayley says that she has beaten Charlotte. She pinned the NXT Women’s Champion. What if she had a title shot?
Charlotte enters the interview area. She says that Bayley is adorable. Because she stole a victory over the Women’s champion, does she think she is ready for a title shot? She isn’t genetically superior. She does not want to humiliate Bayley so she tells her not to utter her name again.
Charlotte leaves and we go to commercial.
Match Number Five: Tyson Kidd (with Natalya) versus Adam Rose
They lock up and Rose with a leg sweep and cover. Rose with a side head lock into a hammer lock. Kidd goes into the ropes and tries to tie up Rose but Rose is able to get free. Rose goes to the floor and he takes a look at Natalya and Natalya likes the attention she is given. Rose offers Natalya a lollipop and Natalya accepts it.
Kidd goes to the floor and he takes her lollipop. Kidd yells at Natalya and he returns to the ring. Kidd with a kick and he sends Rose into the turnbuckles. Kidd with forearms but Rose with punches to Kidd in the corner. Rose with mule kicks to Kidd in the corner. Rose with a snap suplex and he gets a near fall. Rose with an elbow drop followed by a knee drop for a near fall. Kidd goes to the floor and he misses a punch.
Rose hot shots Kidd on the apron and then Rose with a baseball slide to send Kidd to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and we have returned to the ring. Rose with an arm bar but Kidd with forearms. Kidd with a kick and he clotheslines Rose over the top rope to the floor. Kidd sends Rose into the ring post and he returns to the ring to stop the count. Kidd Irish whips Rose into the ring post. They return to the ring and Kidd gets a near fall.
Kidd chokes Rose in the ropes and then he hits a slingshot leg drop onto the apron and he gets a near fall. Kidd with a reverse chin lock. Rose with punches and he applies a sleeper but Kidd with a jawbreaker and Rose goes to the floor one more time. Kidd goes back to the floor and he kicks Rose before they return to the ring. Kidd puts Rose in the tree of woe and he chokes Rose while in the tree of woe. Kidd with a kick to the chest and Rose falls to the mat.
Kidd with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Kidd with a side head lock. Rose with a belly-to-back suplex and both men are down. Rose with boots to Kidd followed by a running forearm and jabs. Rose with a running uppercut and then he hits the running slice into the corner.
Kidd with a back heel kick but Rose with a spinebuster for a near fall. Rose for the Party Foul but Kidd with a rollup into the Sharpshooter but Rose gets to the ropes. Kidd with a slingshot into the middle rope and Kidd goes to the apron and he hits the running kick to the chest.
Rose with an inside cradle for the three count.
Winner: Adam Rose
After the match, Natalya checks on Tyson in the ring but Kidd doesn’t want to talk to Natalya and he gets up and we go to credits.

TNA DESTINATION X 2014 REPORT: HARDYS REUNITE VS. WOLVES, ARIES CHALLENGES LASHLEY AND MORE

It's another episode of TNA Impact taped in New York City, and tonight it's the first half of Destination X. Last week Team Dixie Carter left team ECW beaten and defeated, will they be able to get revenge?
Our announcers are Taz and Mike Tenay, they are coming from the Manhattan Center in New York City!
The show starts with Austin Aries states that he will become the TNA Champion again. They build up that this is a special show with a video package setting up that TNA is seeing a return to greatness and that this is Destination X!
The show proper opens with Team Dixie coming to the ring. Dixie cuts a promo slagging on the New York wrestlers and the fans. She will give the fans ECW, but not the older wrestlers, saying that EC3 is the real star of a real company. EC3 introduces Team Dixie, Gene Snitsky, Rhyno, Rick Lawn (I think...it's Big Zeke and they didn't give a graphic for his new name) and state that they will destroy Devon, Dreamer and Bully Ray. Decent heel promo and the crowd was really into hating this team.
The first match is for the Tag Team Titles Jeff and Matt Hardy and the Wolves.
We come back from commercial in the middle of action with the Wolves working over Matt, who is able to tag Jeff in. This leads to the Hardys dominating the match, quick tags in and out.
When Eddie gets in, he turns the tide and they lead the match and they dominate for the next section until they get a two count. As Jeff recovers, the Wolves take time to set up a big move, giving Matt a chance to get in and toss the Wolves out. Jeff does a GREAT move over the top rope to hit the Wolves on the floor. They dominate for a short time as Jeff gets the Swanton. Again, a bit of set up for Matt to do the Shooting Star for another two count.
Matt puts Eddie in the Icepick submission, and as Davey come in, Jeff catches him and put him in the same move. Davey falls into Matt and Eddie and breaks up the holds. The momentum shifts to the Wolves who both hit a double foot stomp off the top rope to Matt. This leads to a see saw with a LOT of close near falls. As Matt takes FOREVER to set up a top rope move on Eddie, Davey clocks him. Puts Matt on Eddie's shoulders and does a backstabber for the pin. Impressive move!
Winners and Still Tag Team Champs The Wolves
Solid match with a lot of action. Good see-saw battle and while the Hardy's lose, they don't look bad doing so. After the match, the Wolves put the belts on the mat, and shake hands with the Hardys as the crowd chant “This is Awesome”, and oddly for TNA, it was after the match, not before anyone hooks up, and it really was awesome.  Great opener for the show.
Taz and Tenay push that the show is loaded,  push the main event and through the macth the crowd switches off cheering for each team. .
Low Ki gets a short video package where he puts over TNA and the X Division. Good clips and a good introduction if you don't know who he is. It ends with him Face to Face with Samoa Joe.
When we get back from commercial, they show highlights from the previous match, putting over that it was a dream match.
DJ Z is in the ring for the first X Division Qualifying match. Next to the ring is Manik and he's followed by Low Ki for a triple threat match.
Taz says he picks Low Ki as they are both from Brooklyn. Manik starts with Low Ki, and DJ Z comes in, drops them both and we have DJ vs Low Ki. DJ dominates, taking care of Low Ki in the ring and flying out of the ring to take out Manik. OK, I am NOT going to be able to keep up with this match, but the highlights are: Manik has DJ in a leg lock and then hits a backdrop bridge on Low Ki at the same time. Great move and something I haven’t seen before. No one dominates for long and all three men look strong, until DJ s out of the ring, Low Ki hits the Key Crusher and pins Manik.
Winner and advancing in the tournament for next week: Low Ki!
Teney puts over that later tonight we have Aries against Lashley!
When we come back, we see Sanada last week attacking the Great Muta. And to get an explanation, in the ring is James Storm. He explains that Sanada is not a student turning on his teacher, but a student being awaken. Storm says he is the new leader of a revolution and Sanada is a man who destroyed the Great Muta. Storm cut a heel promo, but the crowd didn't react to it much that I can see.
Sanada comes to the ring and Storm leaves. Brian Cage enters with regrettable facial hair designs and here comes the Menagerie with Crazy Steve.
Page starts the match by taking out both, tosses out Crazy Steve and then works with Sanada. Crazy Steve comes in for a comedy spot and then back to Cage who lifts both other guys and tosses them both backward/ Impressive show of strength, but he doesn't follow up it, so the tide turns and Sanada takes over for a short time. Sanada is tossed out and it's Crazy Steve's turn to take FOREVER to set up a move in the corner. Cage is down and we get Steve and Sanada for a short time and then back to Steve vs Cage.
At this point my cable stutters and shoots right to the ending Sanada wins with Tiger Suplex and a bridge on Steve.
Winner and advancing to next week: Sanada!
From what I saw, a solid match the built up Cage as stronger than the other two guys and probably shouldn't be in the X-Division.
After another break, Bully, Devon and Dreamer are on their way to the ring. They play to the crowd giving Taz and Teney time to push how what is coming between them and Team Dixie is going to be a war. The crowd is hot for these guys!
Devon starts amid shouts of ECW and Welcome Home. He lets the crowd know they the three of them know how to finish a war. Dreamer states that he has been in wars with and against the guys in the ring, and how he would give everything for the fans. He puts over the TNA guys as people just as good as the guys he worked with in ECW. He ends by saying it's time to get things done right now.
Team Dixie comes out and EC# states that the match with take place on “Carter Time”, next week.
Bully states that no one wants to wait next week to a huge cheer from the crowd. “Do you know where you are???? You're in New York City, Baby, you're gonna DIE!” Bully states if he wanted to, he could start a riot which starts a crowd chant of Start a Riot. Bully states if they name the time, he'll name the terms, 8 man weapons extreme hard core war. Bully says by this time next week, Dixie is going through a table. AWESOME promo.
We cut to the back with Angle talking to Samoa Joe who wishes him good luck. Kurt tells the unseen cameraman that Destination X is about to have No Limits.
Impact lists their upcoming TV taking and a bunch of house shows. I honestly had no idea they were still doing those.
Backstage, EC3 is pumping up his team stating that next week, it ends one way or another. Dixie tries to talk tough and instead looks like a woman sending back a steak that wasn't done well enough. She actually brought down the segment and brought down the excitement a couple fo levels. We then have the cameraman talking to the Beautiful People who put themselves over. Next week, Angelina Love will make an announcement worthy of Destination X.
We are shown that Havok is coming.  Good for him.
Our third qualifying match with Samoa Joe BACK in the X Division. He cuts a promo that puts over that Kurt Angle has rebuilt the X-Division and he'll be the next X Division Champion. Tigre Uno enters the ring, and we're told that he's come THIS CLOSE to winning the X Division title and it is a Must Win for him. Homicide returns and Taz puts him over.
Sanata vs Low Ki vs Samoa Joe
Quick start to the match and they are outside the ring within minutes...and we go to commercial!!
We come back to Tigre Uno with a drop kick on Homicide and Samoa Joe as the crowd chants Joe's Gonna Kill You. Joe and Homicide face off after Tiger Uno is knocked the outside. They trade blows until Joe pulls power moves on Homicide. He is setting up for a power bomb as Tigre breaks it up. Tigre works over Homicide until Joe breaks it up, leading to Joe dominating Tigre. Once Homicide recovers Tigre is out of the ring again and we get Joe and Homicide. Joe tries to set up a muscle buster and Homicide escapes, fights for a bit until Joe gets the Muscle Buster set in setting up the pin.
Winner and our final entrant: Samoa Joe!
Decent mix of styles with Tigre doing lucha stuff, Joe doing power moves and Homicide providing the glue keeping it together. All three of the X Division matches have been quick paced, great TV matches.
There's a video package showing what Bram has done to Abyss to set up next week's Monster's Ball match. Abyss cuts a promo about the new version of Janice. Not a lot in the promo, just the promise of Violence for the sake of Violence.
Aries gets a video package to set up our Main Event.
Back from commercial, we get a run down on all of the set up for next week, who won the X-Division matches and that the WAR is next week.
We get our entrances with Aries coming in first as the announcers put over that he won the World Title the last time he cashed in the X-Division title. Lashley comes to the ring and he is put over as an unstoppable monster who is about to fight in MMA.
They face off in the ring and Lashley towers over Aries. As they trade some opening moves, the announcers talk strategy, Aries has to use his speed and Lashley will be able to dominate with strength. Aries starts by working on Lashley's legs with kicks and then wrapping the leg in the ropes. Lashley takes over when Aries leaps off the top rope into Lashley's arms, and Aries gets tossed backwards onto the floor as we go to commercial.
They run an ad for Guardians of the Galaxy and I wince a little inside because the movie started at the local theater an hour and a half ago...and I wanted to see the first showing. But, Mike Johnson asked if I could cover the show and I figured it was the cheapest present I could get him.
And then Dave asked, and it's pretty much impossible to say No to Dave.
Good thing is, Impact is good enough I don't mind that I have to wait a day to see a new Marvel movie.
We're back, and we're told that Lashley has been in charge during the commercial break. Here's a minor complaint...the show is taped, do we really have to have so much of the match cut? Lashley tosses Aries out of the ring and rams him into the ring posts repeatedly. Then, back in the ring an Lashley keeps Aries down into a bear hug. The crowd is solidly behind Aries and he slowly mounts a comeback to get out of the move and then Lashley puts him back in a bear hug. Aries tries boxing the ears of Lashley to get out of the hold and after he gets out of hold, Lashley presses him over his head with full arm extension before dropping him.
Lashley looks like a monster with that move. Aries is able to get out of power bomb and rallies with a series of chops and punches in the corner. Lashley shoves him off and goes to run into him but Aries dodges, gets Lashley out of the ring and gets a good series of moves off the ropes, whipping Lashley into the corner.
Aries counters the spear and puts Lashley into a submission move that Lahsley powers out of. Aries works another series of moves as Lashley looks as if he is about to drop, and both guys are drenched with sweat. Aries is able to get Lashely up for a brain buster into a near fall. The continue until Lashley is outside the ring, Aries tries a dive and instead hits the rail.
Back in the ring, Lashley spears Aries for the pin.
Your winner and still World Champion Bobby Lashley!
Great match and it really had a Big Match feel.  All in all a solid show and enough to get me watching again.  We’ll have an audio up about the show later tonight!
In our “Coming next week” Will Dixie go through a Table?  They show the set up, the screen goes black and you hear the sound of Dixie going through the table.  They show #ithappens and the show ends.
So, TNA spoiled their own show next week...is it a good idea?  We’ll see on Next Week’s Impact Wrestling!

Match Number One: Ascension defeated two Unnamed Opponents with Fall of Man. Viktor mentioned they will find out their opponents for Takeover next week.
Your new NXT GM is William Regal and he announces the main event for Takeover. After Tyson Kidd, Tyler Breeze, and Sami Zayn come out Regal makes a Fatal four Way.
Match Number Two: Bayley defeated Sasha Banks with a Belly-to-belly suplex. Renee Young interviews Bayley after the match and asks about her match against Charlotte at Takeover. Charlotte comes out.
Match Number Three: Bull Dempsey defeated Angelo Dawkins.
Match Number Four: Tyson Kidd and Tyler Breeze defeated Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville after Zayn accidentally hit the Helluva kick on Neville. After the match Zayn stood over everyone with the belt and then put it on Neville.
September 4 show:
Match Number One: Charlotte defeated Alexa Bliss with Bow Down to the Queen. After the match Bayley came out to demand respect.
Match Number Two: Tyler Breeze defeated Tye Dillinger.
Match Number Three: Tyson Kidd defeated Adam Rose with the Sharpshooter.
Match Number Four: Sami Zayn defeated Marcus Louis with the Koji Clutch. After the match, Enzo and Cassady attacked Lefort and tried to get revenge but Lefort escaped to the back.
Match Number Five: Adrian Neville defeated CJ Parker with the Red Arrow.
Match Number Six: Sin Cara and Kalisto defeated The Vaudevillains to become the Number One Contenders to face The Ascension at NXT Takeover on September 11. After the match, the champions came to the stage to stare down Cara and Kalisto.
In a post show dark match, Big Show defeated Cesaro with a Choke Slam.

JEFF HARDY TALKS ABOUT WHOSE IDEA WILLOW WAS, WHEN HE WILL RETIRE, TNA ON SPIKE AND MORE

Jeff Hardy was interviewed by AlternativeNation.net. In the interview, Hardy discussed reports of SpikeTV canceling TNA Impact Wrestling, the evolution of the Willow character, the Hardy Boyz reunion, how much longer he thinks he can wrestle, his feud with CM Punk, TNA giving him creative freedom, working with Sting, writing his own music, and his apprehension over Vince Russo's decision to turn him heel in 2010.
On TNA's status on SpikeTV: "I don’t know, I’m not a social network guy, I don’t even read timelines or tweets. But I’m sure negotiations are – I still have hope. It’s not really my problem, but I hope we remain on Spike, I hope they can work something out. Gosh, I hope 1 or 2 years from now we’re still coming on every Thursday night on Spike. I don’t know, I go to the shows, I do the best I can in the ring. That’s my commitment to the company, is to do what I can do to make the show good. It’s their job to use me in the right fashion. As far as re-signing with Spike, I don’t know what’s going to happen. I hope we remain."
On when he will retire: "Basically the way I look at it, 3 years from now if I feel the way I feel now, I’m still going to be doing the things I do now, as far as [seeing] a vision I want to conquer, and pulling it off. Ultimately with my style, if I feel like wrestling 5 years from now wrestling the way I did against Bobby Lashley the way I did, I’m going to do it. But I can’t say, my career might end next week when we’re filming, I’m not sure."
On Willow: "It’s something I would have loved to do years ago, but the timing was never right. WWE never would have went for it. They would never want ‘Jeff Hardy staying covered, because [he’s] this money maker.’ But that’s what’s so cool about TNA being open-minded, they take a few risks, especially with me, and letting me do that. Because instead of that aggressive heel bad guy character that Willow was back in the OMEGA days, I think now that we’ve experimented with it, it can be a more kid friendly type of deal."

With Triplemanía XXII being the seventh edition of their largest annual event to be broadcast via PPV on SKY which also broadcasts major company events such as Rey de Reyes and Guerra de Titanes, AAA arguably remains the most successful Mexican Lucha Libre promotion with PPV presence in the world.

AAA’s first PPV was the historic and very successful event, When Worlds Collide, held live in front of over 13,000 screaming fans on November 6, 1994 in Los Angeles, California.  At that event, Eddie Guerrero and Love Machine had their heads shaved after losing their Hair vs Hair match, and El Perro Aguayo defeated the legendary Konnan in a bloody steel cage fight.  The event was also highlighted by the participation of Chris Benoit, 2 Cold Scorpio, Tito Santana, WWE Superstar Rey Misterio Jr (Rey Mysterio in WWE), and many others.
