After being in charge of the EMLL office in Guadalajara for a little over 4 years, Apolo Dantes was relieved of his duties as the director of the office and would be replaced by Daniel Cruz who was the secretary for Dantes. Apolo said that he was a little sad when he was informed of the decision but he knows that there are cycles in the business and it was his time to go but he is very satisfied with what he has done in the last 4 years. Apolo said that he thought he treated the wrestlers as good as any promoter could and that he knows that he put on the best shows possible for the fans and that he hopes their judgement of him is very positive. Apolo said that he has met with Daniel Cruz and that he gave him everything that he had in the office and he thinks that he will do a good job. Apolo said that he would continue to be in the wrestling business because it is in his blood and has been all his life but he isn’t sure yet on what he would do but he thinks that he could be very valuable for a promotion to work inside their office and said that he wouldn’t mind opening up his own office down the road.

RESULTS

AAA 7/3 – Auditorio Jose Maria Arteaga de Queretaro (TV taping)

Zorro came out to start the show and told everyone that he was the guy in the mask who handed the cane to Joaquin Roldan to use it on La Legion and that’s about all he said leaving this angle still wide open.

1. Billy Boy & Sexy Star beat Aero Star & Fabi Apache after Fabi bled and was stretchered out.
2. Alan Stone/Elegido/Extreme Tiger defeated Cuervo/Escoria/Ozz
3. The Psycho Circus (Killer Clown/Psycho Clown/Zombie Clown) beat D-Generation MEX (Alex Koslov/Rocky Romero/Sean Waltman) after Zorro showed up using the cane on Piero by mistake but intentionally whacking Waltman.
4. Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario defeated Cibernetico & El Mesias – Angle alert before the match as Ciber got on the mic and talked about how strong the bond was between him & Mesias. Shiima Xion was at ringside and was involved here quite a bit bumping for the tecnicos. The finish was that Nicho tried to hit Ciber with a steel chair but he stopped him and Lider fouled him from behind and pinned him. Ciber was then angry at Mesias for not making the save and as he tried to explain what happened, he was attacked by Los Bizarros and they proceeded to destroy Mesias. Ciber then said that he & Mesias were done and that he was pissed at Mesias for trying to steal his legacy after he left the company.
5. Charly Manson/Dr. Wagner Jr./Jack Evans beat Chessman/Teddy Hart/Silver King – Doc & SK refused to wrestle against each other here which prompted Chessman & Hart to get pissed off at SK but Wagner would eventually use the Wagner Driver to SK for the finish. Chessman & Hart then decided to turn on SK before Wagner would finally make the save and the brother team has reunited.

1. Sensei & Trueno beat Apocalipsis & Ramstein
2. Angel Azteca Jr./Guerrero Maya Jr./Starman defeated Arkangel de la Muerte/Escandalo/Loco Max
3. Euforia/Shigeo Okumura/Virus beat Maximo/Metro/Mictlan after Okumura fouled Maximo behind the ref’s back.
4. Lightning Match: La Mascara defeated Felino – After this match, El Faraon, Lizmark, Mascara Ano Dos Mil, Sangre Chicana, & Pierroth’s daughter all came out and promoted today’s big Luchas 2000 show at Arena Coliseo.
5. Hector Garza/Shocker/Toscano beat Hijo del Texano/NO LIMIT (Tetsuya Naito & Yujiro Takahashi)
6. Mistico/La Sombra/Volador Jr. defeated Los Hijos del Averno (Averno/Ephesto/Mephisto)
