Stefan Gorges released his annual report on 2009, of every WWE wrestler and their win-loss record for the year. Keep in mind that the general rule is that on house shows, the face goes over unless there is a discrepancy in the level of the two competitors, or unless a heel holds the championship. So in most cases, the faces are going to have stellar records and the heels, even the main event heels, will not have good records. Well, unless you’re the Hardys.
Since WWE doesn’t allow draws as finishes since time limits are not part of their format, there are only wins, losses and no contests.

Most matches were Punk (197), Cena (181), Orton (178), Kingston (178) and Show (170). Basically that means the five guys who got through the year without missing significant time with a serious injury. What’s impressive about Cena’s numbers is that he’s constantly on the road doing promotional work as well, and both Cena and Show were top five even though each missed several weeks of house shows filming a movie. Cena had the most wins (158) and Orton had the most losses (131), and I’d expect that they also probably wrestled each other more often than any other pairing.
