Light heavyweights Ryan Bader and Ovince St. Preux will headline the UFC's Maine debut on Saturday, August 16th, first reported by the Bangor Daily News.
Bader (18-4) is coming off a unanimous decison win over Rafael Cavalcante at UFC 174 last Saturday, while St. Preux (16-5) finished Ryan Jimmo by 2nd round TKO at the same event. Bader has won three of his last four, while OSP has won five in a row.
The Fox Sports One event will take place at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, a new 5800-seat venue about 10-15 minutes away from the University of Maine. Other fights announced for the card thus far:
- Tim Boetsch (Maine native) vs. Brad Tavares
- Sam Alvey vs. Tom Watson
- Shawn Jordan vs. Jack May
